Phyllis Tucker
1920 - 2007

Tucker, Phyllis May - formerly of Tobermory and Oil Springs, peacefully at Gateway Haven, Wiarton on Tuesday, May 1st, 2007. The former Phyllis Reeves, at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Richard Tucker. Devoted mother of Susan Evans, of Tobermory. Grandmother of Randy Evans and Caryna Wilding. Great-grandmother of Kayla, Austin, Rhys, Dylan, Brandon, Haily and Calvin. Family invite friends to join with them for a service celebrating the life of Phyllis at St. Edmund’s Anglican Church, Tobermory on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 2 o’clock. Venerable Dr. Jawn Kolohon officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and a time of refreshment following the service. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated and may be made through the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel, Sauble Beach (519) 422-0041. Maisie Roote
1931 - 2007

Roote, Maisie – suddenly at her Saugeen First Nation home on Sunday, April 22nd, 2007. The former Maisie Wesley in her 76th year. Loving wife of Dan Roote for 55 years. Cherished mother of Anthony Roote, Steve and his wife Marilyn, Mike and his wife Monica, Corrine and her husband Paul King, all of Saugeen First Nation. Treasured grandma to 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Forever missed by one sister Mary (Mrs. Gerald Roote), and her half-sister Barbara Charlebois. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Lila Wesley; brothers Roy, James, Morris and Roger; and a sister Mabel Root. Family invite friends to call at the family home (19 Cameron Drive, Saugeen First Nation) on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A service to celebrate Maisie’s life will be conducted from the James Mason Memorial Recreation Centre on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment in the Catholic cemetery , Scotch Settlement. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Doug Walls
1942 - 2007

Walls, Doug “Drywall” – suddenly, at his residence on Saturday, April 21st, 2007. Douglas James Walls of RR#4 Wiarton in his 65th year. Best friend and companion of Beth McLeod, of Cape Croker. Cherished father of Lori and her husband Wayne Jones, Tammie and her husband Patrick Vaughan, both of London; Cindy and her husband Andrew Hartgers, of Ilderton; and Gina and her husband Corrie Smith, of Belle River. Beloved grandpa of six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Brother of John and his wife Mary, of Denfield. Sadly missed by special sister Joan Leitch; and also by the former Greta Desjardine; and the late former Carolyn Scott. Loving son of Clara Walls. Doug will never by forgotten by Pauline, Roxane, Cherie, Jennifer, Jon, and Jaclyn “Queeny” and their families. Predeceased by his father Telford. “Drywall” loved to make his own maple syrup; owned “Vanishing Lake”; and will always be remember for his special sense of humour. Friends may call at the Thomas C. Keeshig, Luke – suddenly, at his Cape Croker residence on Friday, April 20th, 2007. Luke Edward Keeshig in his 76th year. Loving father of Gregor Keeshig; Willis Keeshig and his partner Grace; Dorene Keeshig; Arlene Keeshig; Nolan Keeshig; Susan Keeshig and her partner Cheryl; Steve Keeshig and his partner Kim; Terry Keeshig; and Denise Waukey. Luke will be forever missed by his 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Much loved brother of Dorothy Keeshig; Donald Keeshig and his wife Keitha; and Mickey Keeshig. Luke will be sadly missed by his wife Alfreda Keeshig (nee Waukey); his sister-in-law Clara; nieces; nephews; and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Gregor and Mary; two sons Kelly and Don; one daughter Margaret Good; two brothers Randolph and Eugene; two sisters Clartey and Delina; one half-brother Clark; one half-sister Reta; and two brothers-in-law Rudy and Leonard. Family invite friends to gather with them at the Maadookii Centre, Cape Croker on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be conducted from the St. Mary’s Church, Cape Croker on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Breutigam, Carl – of Hepworth, suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services Wiarton on Wednesday, April 18th, 2007. Carl Elmer Breutigam in his 66th year. Loving husband and best friend to the former Sandi Macaulay. Cherished father of Kristal and her husband Doug Mantle, of Woodville, and Kelly and her husband Jeff Wilkins, of Sauble Beach. Devoted grandpa of Tyson, Reese, Noah and Olivia. Caring brother of Violet and her husband John Allenson, of Kitchener; Robert and his wife Doreen, of St. Catharines; Bernice and the late Max Loughran, of Thessalon; and Leona and her husband Stan Burt, of Harriston. Sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Shelagh (Ken Mulveney), of Claremont, and Barbara Cooper, of Newmarket; and his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Noah and Adeline; and a brother, Harvey. Carl was an enthusiastic member of the Sauble Sandpipers, St. Andrew’s United Church (Hepworth), and the Kamping Kings. Friends are invited to join with the family on Saturday, April 21st, 2007 at 2 o’clock for a Celebration of Life service at the Zion- Amabel United Church, 899 Main St., Sauble Beach. Elliott, Quinto Shane “Jonesy” – suddenly in Toronto on Friday, April 13th, 2007 at the age of 31 years. Cherished son of Elaine E. Jones and step-father Dwight Jones, of Cape Croker. Much loved brother of Connie Elliott, Daphne Jones (Lee Cutting), both of Cape Croker; Shelley Allen and her husband Chris, Joe Jones and his fiancée Tammy, Philip Jones, all of Alabama; and Brandon Jones, of Cape Croker. “Jonesy” is sadly missed by his grandparents Georgina and Jonah Elliott; uncles; aunts; nieces; nephews; and cousins. Predeceased by his great-grandmother Florence Pawis (2007). Loving husband of 55 years to the former Blanche Colwell. Cherished father of Jim Kingston (Lorna), of Chesley; Bill Kingston (Merle), of Dobbinton; Lorne Kingston (Ann), of Orillia; and Carol Anne and her husband Ron Wright, of Wiarton. Devoted grandfather of Dawn (Alex Wathke), Bryan Kingston (Laura), Rita (Alan Herron), Wyatt Kingston (Kerrie), Blair Kingston (and friend Paul Spitzig), Terry Kingston (Jolene), Ian Kingston (Helena), and Becky (Jay Delorme); and great-grandfather of Sarah, Amy, Clayton, Abigail, Milton, Madeline, Emma Joy, Dana, Luke, Avery and Peyton. Dear brother of Marjorie (Carl Teschke), of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Loving mother of Fred and his wife Nancy, Michael and his wife Debbie, Terrence and his wife Norma, Margaret and her husband Spencer Reuben. Cherished grandma of Jason, Jonathan, Cassie, James, Ashlyn, Ainslie; and great-grandma of Khale and Hannah. Dear sister of Tom Smith (Cathy), Margaret (Robert Campbell), and May (Robert Gorrie), all of Scotland. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Mary, nieces and nephews and many friends. Loving husband of 49 years to the former Dorothy Buckby. Cherished father to Brian and his partner Marsha Thomas, of Mar; Julie and her husband Randy Atchison, of RR#2 Hepworth; and the late Janice (2000) and her husband Bill Kreutzweiser, of British Columbia. Dear grandfather of Mark, Chris, Kevin, Jennifer, and Braden. Sadly missed by the many friends who shared Lloyd’s love of fiddling, jamborees, antique and coin collecting and fine cars. Devoted father of Steve Proulx (Kristen), of Mississauga; Jason Proulx (Anne-Marie Neutel), of Woodstock; Tracy Armour (Joe Zarello), of Woodbridge; Micheal Proulx, of Oakville; Andrew Armour (Jacqui King), of Owen Sound; and Jonathan Proulx (Adelaide), of Wiarton. Grandfather of Melissa, Amanda, Madison and Damian. Brother to Gilbert Proulx, Ronny Proulx, Nancy Askin and Sue Jones.
