Follis-Young, Sharon - of RR#3 Owen Sound, suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services Owen Sound on Friday, February 13th, 2009. Sharon Louise Follis-Young (nee Scheuerman) in her 43rd year. Loving wife of Joel Young. Dear sister of Sheila Johns and her husband Troy Hunter, of Ferndale; Cathey Lippett and her husband Scott Hutchinson, of Hepworth; Donna Featherstone and her husband Wayne Garrett and Barbie Scheuerman, all of Wiarton; Herbie Scheuerman and his wife Katherine, of Owen Sound; Robert Scheuerman and his wife Anne, of Durham; and Wanda and her husband Charlie Miller, of Elmwood; and sister-in-law of Julie and her husband Rene Gendron, of Keady, and John Young and his wife Cheryl, of Toronto. Cherished daughter of Barb and Cecil Scheuerman, of Wiarton; and daughter-in-law of Connie Neelands and Carl Seeley, of Massie. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Robyn, Danielle, Cara, Carrisa, Saddie, Patricia, James, Joey, Anthony, Jeremy, Crystal, Bridget, Mabel, Ann-Marie, Maureen, Gordie, Stacey and Kevin, Camille and Chuck, and Alli; and her many friends. Predeceased by her brother Brian Scheuerman. Family invite friends to gather at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel, Sauble Beach (519) 422-0041 on Wednesday, February 18th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service to celebrate Sharon's life will be conducted from the chapel on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation has taken place. Donations to Multiple Sclerosis, Heart and Stroke or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. In living memory of Sharon a Crimson King Maple tree will be planted in the funeral home meadow by the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel.

Don Jackson
1934 - 2009

Jackson, William Donald "Don" - 1934-2009 - of Wiarton on Friday, February 13, 2009; Donald Jackson, beloved husband of the late Anna Elizabeth Jackson (nee McCormick) passed away at Gateway Haven in Wiarton at the age of 75 years. Don will be missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Nancy Jackson and her husband Andrew Marlow of Sauble Beach, ON; son Bruce Jackson and his wife Shannon, of Winnipeg, MB; and Don's two bottles of sunshine, his granddaughters Autumn and Robin. Don is also survived by his brother Robert (Beverley) and their children Stuart and Beth, as well as cherished family members Barb Young-Watson, Bobbie and their daughter Lori. Don is predeceased by his wife Anna Jackson since 2003. Cremation has taken place. Family invite friends to gather with them to share memories and stories in celebration of Don's life on Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel, Sauble Beach (519) 422-0041. Don will be interred with Anna in Killean cemetery , Puslinch in the summer. A very special thank you to the many caregivers at Gateway Haven for their care and compassion provided to Don and the many friends and family members for their ongoing support and love. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to Friends of Gateway. In living memory of Don an Oak tree will be planted in the funeral home meadow by the Thomas C. Kay Watterson
1933 - 2009

Watterson, Katherine "Kay" - of Owen Sound, peacefully at Central Place Retirement Community, Owen Sound on Tuesday, March 17th, 2009. Sara Katherine Watterson (nee Ireland) at the age of 75 years. Loving wife and best friend to the late Glen B. Watterson (2002). Sister-in-law of Muriel MacLeod. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Kay is predeceased by her parents, Lyall and Anna Ireland; sister Jane Frost and her husband Bill; and her brother-in-law Ken MacLeod. In accordance with Kay's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation with interment in Greenwood cemetery , Owen Sound. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C. Whitcroft Funeral Home & Chapel, Sauble Beach (519) 422-0041. Donations to the Lung Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated and can be made through the funeral home. Ernie Blandin
1941 - 2009

Blandin, Ernest "Ernie" Gone Fishing - of RR#4 Wiarton, surrounded by his loving family at Victoria Hospital in London on Tuesday, March 10th, 2009. Ernest Francis Blandin at the age of 67 years. Loving husband and best friend of the former Donna McAllister. Cherished father of Shelley Lampman and her partner Ches Haynes, of Brantford; Dave Blandin and his wife Charlene, of Owen Sound; and Nick Blandin and his wife Trish, of Hamilton. Grandpa will miss his two fishing buddies Dustin and Joey. Devoted brother of Rene Blandin and his wife Rose, of Dundas; Linda Moran; Mercedes Henshelwood, of Elliott Lake; and Mary "Dolly" Daniels and her husband Brian, of Ottawa. Ernie will be missed by his nieces, nephews, special sidekick Cloe, and all of his fishing friends. Predeceased by his parents Rene and Mary Jane; brothers Leonard and Michael; and his sister Mary. Ernie wishes that there be no service. His family will hold a private family gathering at a later date. If you would like to make a donation, Ernie would appreciate those to the MNR Fish Restocking programme. But what Ernie would really like is for everyone to just go fishing on Saturday. 1973 - 2009

Pedoniquott, Chuck - suddenly at his Cape Croker residence on Sunday, March 8th, 2009. Charles Robert Pedoniquott in his 36th year. Loving son of Rena Pedoniquott and Byron Beamish, of Brampton. Cherished nephew of his great aunt Delores Ashkewe (and family); his uncles Lyle Pedoniquott, Adam Pedoniquott Sr., Stephen Pedoniquott (Barb), Kelvin Pedoniquott, Allison Pedoniquott, Lloyd Pedoniquott, Berle Pedoniquott (Kathy), and John Rawn; and his aunts Sharon, Kay, Camilla, and Patty. Sadly missed by Warren Zettler; his many cousins; friends; and all his special little friends. Predeceased by his grandparents, Betty and Robert Pedoniquott, and Noreen and Charlie Barr; his great-grandparents Belva and Adam Pedoniquott; his uncles Robert and Roderick Pedoniquott; and his cousins Chad and Everett Pedoniquott. Family invite friends to gather with them at the Cape Croker Community Centre on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where a service to celebrate Chuck's life will be held on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow with interment in Little Port Elgin cemetery. Donations to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Fred Wiese
1929 - 2009

Wiese, Wilfred "Fred" - of RR#4 Wiarton, peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services Wiarton on Tuesday, March 31st, 2009. Wilfred August Wiese in his 80th year. Loving husband of the former Donna Moral. Cherished father of Brad and his wife Holly, and Shawn Wiese and her husband Ray Baur, all of Kitchener, and Janice O'Keeffe and her husband Doug, of Sidney, BC. Devoted grandfather of Jessie, Christian, Bradley, Nikki, Patrick and his wife Shannon, Michael, and Meghan and her husband Mark; and great-grandfather of Alora, Sarah and Lainey. Brother of Edith Dreisinger and her husband Ross, of Oliphant, and Gerda Aram and her husband Don, of Guelph. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Fred's presence on the front porch will be fondly remembered by his many Berford Lake friends. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Fred was a much-loved man. His humorous practical jokes and 'one-liners' will leave an everlasting memory for many. In accordance with Fred's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Family will announce a gathering to celebrate Fred�s life in Kitchener at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Wright, Baby Claire Elizabeth - With broken hearts, Alison Wyonch and Keith Wright announce the passing of their newborn daughter, Claire Elizabeth, on Monday, March 30th, 2009 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. Forever missed by her grandparents, Ernie and Vivian Wyonch, of Tobermory, and John and Elizabeth Wright, of Wallacetown; and aunts and uncles, Grant Wyonch and Vickie Munn, of Tobermory, and Sarah and Glenn Lane, of Hamilton. Predeceased by her uncle Kevin Wright. Baby Claire's family will gather for a private family service with interment in Dunk's Bay cemetery , Tobermory in the spring. Arrangements made at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, Wiarton (519) 534-5341. Loving husband and square-dancing partner to the former Nancy Smith. Cherished father of Teresa Hooey, of Owen Sound; Tracy Johnson (Rob), of Tobermory; Patrick Hooey (Sally), and Shannon Marion (Stephane), all of London. Proud Poppa of Megan Hooey (fiance Jason Rose), Niki Hooey, Allison Whitcomb, Vanessa Johnson, Robyn Johnson, Michael Johnson, Presley Marion, and Aidan Marion; and great-Poppa of Breyden Rouse and Isabella Johnson. Cherished son of Blanche Hooey (late Percy), and son-in-law of Denelda Smith (late Lyle); brother of Ivan Hooey (Doris) and Larry Hooey (late Sharon), all of Tobermory, Joan Belrose (Gord), of Orillia, and Gail Gillespie (Mike), of Wasaga Beach; brother-in-law of Helen Addison (Norman), Don Smith, David Smith (Sue), Doug Smith (Marie), Heather Munn (Randy), all of Tobermory, and Michelle Haynes. Predeceased by his brother Norman. Joe was Vice-President of the Wiarton Steppers and an avid NASCAR fan. Joe's family invite friends to call at the Tobermory United Church on Sunday, March 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where a celebration of life service will be held on Monday at 2 o'clock. Hope, June - of RR#4 Lion's Head, suddenly at her residence on Friday, April 10th, 2009. The former June Marie Hendry at the age of 76 years. Loving wife and best friend of Blake for over 53 years. Sister of Helen Earheart (Wayne), and Patricia Jarowski (Paul), both of Strathroy; Linda Harrow (Bill), of Lobo; Dorothy Lambert (Don), of Ilderton: and Chris Hendry (Anne), of Glencoe. Sister-in-law of Carol Walters (Glen), of Dutton; Inez Boyes (late Alex), Tom Hope (Evelyn), Harry Hope (late Shirley), and Doug Hope (Jane), all of Blenheim. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends. In accordance with June's wishes, there will be no visitation or service at this time. Cremation has occurred. Father of Keir, of Wiarton; Todd and his wife Kerri, of RR#2 Hepworth; and Lorelei MacMillan, of Durham. Proud grandfather of Taylor, Torey, Reid, Trent, Derek, Brenden, Zach, Luke, and Jade. Survived by his sister Gail LeBouef, of Toronto. Predeceased by his parents; 2 brothers; and 1 sister. Family invite friends to gather with them at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 208, Wiarton on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 from 1 - 4 PM to celebrate Winston's life. Cremation has taken place. Loving mother of Linda (Bob Sullivan), of RR#6 Wiarton; Lorraine (Sarup Kundi), of Montreal; and Roxanna (Malcolm Macdonald), of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Shannon (Dwight Bryant) and Liam Sullivan, both of Wiarton, and Leslie-Anne (Rob Fraser), of Ottawa; and great-grandmother of Alexa Fraser. Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Margaret Turner and Edna Turner; and her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her husband Emerson; a daughter Helen (1947); her parents Edward and Elizabeth; her brothers Kingsley Turner, Orland Turner, and Clayton Turner; and her sister-in-law Muriel Turner. At Gwen's request there will be no visitation or service. Family will gather at Pinecrest cemetery , Ottawa for a graveside service at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
