October 5, 1923 - March 13, 2000

Funeral arrangements by Nisbett Funeral Home

On Monday March 13, 2000 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre- Roger Street Site in his 77th year.

Hayward Martin, beloved husband of Agnes Martin (Coles) in their 50th year of marriage.

Loving father of Dennis of Peterborough and Marilyn Parker and her husband Roger of Arizona.

Dear brother of Mary Hickman of Newfoundland.

Sadly missed by several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Daisy Oldford.

Friends may call at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, 600 Monaghan Road on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 1-2 p.m.

Service to follow at 2 p.m. in the Nisbett Chapel with Reverend Michael Begbie of Northminster United Church officiating.

Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Peterborough Regional Health Centre Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.

Stella Maude Lightfoot
January 15, 1928 - February 16, 2001

Stella Lightfoot of Cameron Street in her 74th year.

Beloved daughter of the late William and Jessie Lightfoot.

Dear sister of Anne Wood and her husband Dalton and Phyllis Freelan.

Predeceased by her sisters and brothers John, Florence, Rowe and Claude.

Survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Road, South, Peterborough on Monday, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday February 20th, 2001 at 1 p.m. in the Nisbett Chapel.

Spring Interment at the Old Stone Church cemetery , Beaverton, Ontario.

Sister of Fern Dunford and her husband Stan of Peterborough and Donald of Statford.

Predeceased by her sisters Viola Cummings and Shirley Graham and brothers Garnet, Rolly and Stuart Graham.

Dear grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 10 and great great-grandmother of 1.

The family will receive friends at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Rd. South on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and Monday at 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

February 20, 1971 - April 21, 2001

Gracefully on Saturday April 21, 2001 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre surrounded by her loving family and friends, Nancy Tedford in her 31st year crossed over to God with peace, tranquillity and dignity.

As beautiful as she was in life, she remained in death, survived by her beloved son Zachary and loving husband David Tedford.

Daughter of Ross and Lynda Hainer.

Sister of Kevin and Jennifer of Peterborough, Chris and Sharon of Apsley, and Michael and Janice of Bowmanville.

Beloved daughter-in-law of Keith and Dale Tedford.

Sister-in-law of Jane and Chad of Chalk River, Ann and Mike of Omemee.

Granddaughter of Margaret Besse of Haliburton.

Friends may call at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, 600 Monaghan Road on Tuesday April 24th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Funeral service will be held on April 25th at 1:00 pm at Trinity United Church in Omemee.

Reverend Paul Grassie will officiate, Interment will take place at Warsaw cemetery.

Memorial donations to Christian Horizons House #5, Peterborough, where Nancy’s special Uncle Stephen resides at this time, would be appreciated by the family. Nisbett 745-3211.

Nancy was a very special young woman.

She touched the hearts of all who knew her.

She will be missed but will live forever in all of us.

To have known her was a privilege; to have loved her was a gift.

There are people who you meet throughout your life who bring great joy and because you have known them you are a better person.

Nancy is one of these people.

Nancy’s family would especially like to thank all of the wonderful caregivers for their tremendous compassion during Nancy’s illness.

We are so very grateful.
