AUGER, Simone - Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, with her family by her side, at Guelph General Hospital, on Sunday, November 24, 2002. Simone (Boyle) Auger, age 85 years, was the beloved wife of the late Paul Auger (1978). Loving mother of Audre Auger and his wife Marion of Guelph. She was the dear grandmother of Tom and Jen Auger, both of Guelph and dear sister of Yvonne and Remi. Predeceased by Rene, Berthe, Gaby and Gracia. Simone worked for the Lorraine Shoppe for many years and was a longtime volunteer with St. Joseph's Health Center. She touched the hearts of people wherever she went. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Simone will be held on Sunday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at the St. Joseph's Health Center Auditorium, 100 Westmount Rd., Guelph on Monday, December 2, 2002 at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral from 9:30-10 a.m. Interment Marymount cemetery , Guelph. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation or to the 5th Floor nurses's station c/o the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

MORETTE, Diane Patricia - (Former employee of Bell Canada). Suddenly, at her home, in Guelph, on Tuesday, November 26, 2002. Diane Patricia (Anderson) Morette, age 49 years, was the beloved wife of Bruce Morette. She was the loving mother of Nicole of Brampton and Michelle and Leanne, both of Rockwood. Beloved daughter of Frank Anderson and the late Margaret. Diane was the dear sister of Michael Anderson and his wife Karen of Burlington. John Anderson and his wife Linn of Bramalea and George Anderson and his wife Donna of Orangeville. She was the dear niece of Tom and Shirley Moore of Toronto. Survived also by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Diane will be remembered by her many co-workers at Bell Canada. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment Marymount cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

SNEDDON, Ross Andrew - Passed away, on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at St. Mary's Hospital, in his 68th year. Ross was the beloved husband of Diane (nee Knapp) Sneddon. Loving father of Tracy and her husband Don Ross of Toronto, Chad Sepers and his wife Donna of Guelph, Robert (Hap) Sneddon and his wife Laurie Powers of Cambridge, Andrew MacPherson Sneddon of Kitchener, Samantha Sneddon of Waterloo and Reagan Sneddon and Jeffrey Yuke of Kitchener. Grandfather of David and Jacqueline Ross, Lane Yuke, Chelsey, Jacob and Alicia Sepers. Predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Agnes Sneddon. Loving friend to all who knew him. Ross was a partner of Gray-Sneddon Insurance Adjusters and played hockey with the Toronto Marlies winning the Memorial Cup in 1955. The family of Ross Sneddon will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Friday) at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (749-8467). Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment Woodland cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Epilepsy Foundation or the St. Mary's Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). MEDLEY, Florence (nee Campbell) - Of Guelph, passed away peacefully, at St. Joseph's Villa, Dundas, Thursday, November 28, 2002, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Orval Medley (1992). Dear sister of Leta Shearer of Burford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her parents, David and Ethel Campbell and a brother, Carl Campbell. Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, tonight (Friday) 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held, in the funeral home chapel, Saturday, November 30, 2002, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. WATSON, George V. - Passed away, suddenly, but peacefully, at Caressant Care, Arthur, on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, in his 75th year. Loving husband of Lenore (Sager) for 52 years. Much loved father of Donna and her husband Bob Gear of Fergus, Cathy Bruder of Pansonby, Doug Watson and his wife Michele of Windsor and Terri and her husband Paul Dally of Cambridge. Grandpa will be missed by Adam and Brandon Gear, Angela and Megan Bruder, Crystal and Nathan Dally and Alexander and Cameron Watson. Brother of Helen (John) Fairburn of Cambridge, Evelyn Watson of Thunder Bay, Audrey (Bob) McKenzie of Williamsford and Marlene (Frank) Kivell of Cambridge. Brother-in-law of Rose Watson of Cambridge and Vivien (Henry) Lengyell. Uncle George will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Helen Watson of Clyde; brother, Buzz Watson of Cambridge and sister, Joan and her husband Howard Main of Sheffield. George worked for 39 years at Savage Shoe from 1946 until 1985. He moved his family to Fergus in 1958 from Galt and resided in the same house until his health forced him into Caressant Care in Arthur in December of 2001. Friends will be received at the Thomson & Collins Funeral Home, 160 St. David St. N., Fergus, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from St. James Anglican Church, 171 Queen St. E., Fergus, on Monday, Dec. 2, 2002 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Witcher officiating. Cremation will follow with interment of cremated remains at Belsyde cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, St. James Church Building Fund or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

GRIFFITH, Edith - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Verner Griffith (1990). Dear mother of Veva Spark of Guelph, Lenora and Elwin Arbuckle of Alma, Glenna and Doug Smith of Arkell, Wilma and Wilmer Wollis of Mount Forest and Marnie and Bill Mainland of Arthur. Much cherished sister of Ellen Irvine, Lloyd Grasley and Walter Grasley. Much loved Gram of 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son-in-law, Alvan Spark; sister, Dorothy and brother, Victor. Evelyn Curtis of Fergus, formerly of East Garafraxa, in her 84th year. Loving mother of Joyce and husband Dan Flewelling of Guelph, Lloyd and his wife Judy of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Lois Sigurdson and Garth Somers of Kelowna, B.C., Ralph and his wife Carla of Kamloops, B.C., Brian and his wife Brendalee of Orton and Glenn of Fergus and daughter-in-law, Terri Holden of Orangeville. Loved by 15 grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Lindsay Curtis and her son James Allan (1984); her parents, George Edward and Hannah Minnie Drury and brother, Oscar Drury. Friends will be received at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus, tonight (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, Dec. 2, 2002 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Loving mother of Franka and Ross McEwan, Flavia and Marvin Maahs, Doreen and Howard Miller and the late Claudio Barbirolo (1991). Dear Nona of Thomas, Elisa, Vlad, Lucas, William, Dietrich, Jarvis, Eric, Timothy and Janine. Survived by brothers; sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, all of Italy. Beloved husband of Beatrice for 57 years; loved father of Michael Fraser of Mission, B.C., Bruce Fraser of Huntsville, Debbie (Jacques) Daoust of Cambridge, Judy Fraser of Guelph, Sandra (David) Edinger of Guelph, Sherry (Bobby) Laundrie of Cambridge, Bradley Fraser of Owen Sound and the late Larry Fraser. Loving grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 14. Also survived by sisters, Mary Blake of Cambridge and Alice Brydges of Guelph. Predeceased by a sister, Cathy Ferguson and a brother, Thomas Fraser. Mr. Fraser was a six year veteran of the Royal Canadian Artillery during the Second World War. Cremation.
