Son of the late William and Priscilla Argo, early inhabitants of Eden Mills. Younger brother of the late Anne Cook and Ruth Cowan. Husband of his beloved wife of over 60 years, the late Ellen (Bond) Argo. VENTRY, George Alexander - Passed away, at the CEE Hospital, Petrolia, on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003. George Ventry, in his 95th year, was the beloved husband of the late Eunice (nee Schott) Ventry (1974). He was the dear father of Margo and her husband Omar May of Petrolia and father-in-law of Lorna Ventry of Guelph. George is fondly remembered by four grandchildren, Mark of Guelph, Jane of Chilliwack, Judy and her husband Robin Wagner of RR 3, Delhi and Anthony and his wife Manera of Dorchester and four great-grandchildren, Jeff, Amanda, Olivia and Leah. He is survived by his sister, Gladys Simkins of North Bay; his brother, William of Waterloo and Betty of British Columbia. George was predeceased by his son, Ron Ventry; by his brother, Joseph Ventry and by his grandson, Michael Ventry. GOLIAN, Paul Rudolph - Died, on Tuesday, January 14, 2003, at the age of 78. Survived by his wife, Olga (Bedek) Golian after 49 years of marriage. Loved father of Thomas of Guelph. Mr. Golian was born on February 9, 1924 in Hungary and came to Canada in 1951 where he was a resident of Welland, Hagersville and for the past 20 years, Belwood. he was the Chief Medical Technologist at St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph from 1977 to 1989. McPHEE, Shirley May - Peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at the Grand River Hospital, after a lengthy battle with lung disease. PEINSZNSKI, Trevor - passed away peacefully, on Sunday, January 12, 2003, at Princess Margaret Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. Trevor was a shining star who touched many people with his passion and enthusiasm for life. He entered into new environments with his shoulders squarely set and his head held high, instantly warming the room with his booming laughter, infectious smile and never-ending brigade of jokes, anecdotes and touching funny stories. Trevor worked in the hospitality industry at the Renaissance Toronto Hotel at Skydome with an attention to detail that surpassed all industry standards. Trevor loved his life, family and friends.
