STEVENSON, Laura Jean (nee Cann) - Of Guelph, passed away, at St. Joseph's Health Care Centre, Guelph, Friday, January 17, 2003. Jean Stevenson, in her 80th year, was born in Exeter and resided in Guelph and Bayfield. Predeceased by her cherished husband, George (1995). Loved mother of Marvin Stevenson and wife Carol-Ann of Rockwood and Barbara and husband Wayne Baxter of Guelph. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jeffrey Stevenson of Toronto, Laurie and husband Heath Bullock of Morriston, David and Kevin Baxter, both of Guelph, and Anna and husband Steve Lynch of Angus; as well as Great-Grandma's pride and joy, Joyanne and Angus. Dear sister of Jim Cann and wife Anna of Eden Mills and sister-in-law of Annie Ralston, Jean Stevenson, and Jean Cann, all of Guelph and Lil Stevenson of Brantford. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends whom she cherished. Jean had many happy memories of her 45 year employment at the Guelph Stove Company/Resco. She was an active member of the Curvette Club for many years. Jean took great pride in her many interests: her family, to whom she gave her endless love and support; prize winning baking and cooking; and gardening, were among her favourites.
