VAILLANCOURT, Augustine "Toots" (née Lambert) The family announces with sorrow her death, Saturday, August 16, 2003, in Sudbury, at the age of 83 years. Daughter of the late Narcisse Lambert and of the late Marie Lambert (née Desbois). Beloved wife of David Girard of Sudbury. Wife of the late Gordon Vaillancourt. Loving mother of Yvonne Lapointe (husband Fern predeceased) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her daughter Suzanne. Dear sister of Noëlla, Eddie, René (wife Molly), Aurèle and Paul. Predeceased by her brothers Simon, Lucien, Armand, Rolland and by her sisters Delma, Irène, Anita and Delia "Judy". Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Michel "Mike", Ron (wife Monique), Denis, (fiancé Marty), Kim (husband Roger) and by her great-grandchildren Tanya, Dillon, Devin, Krysta, Rebbeca-Lynn, Maeve, Kayla, Kayla-Grace and Paige. Predeceased by her grandson Gordon. Sadly missed by David Girard's daughter Linda (husband Bruno Noël) and by his sons David and Donald and by his grandchildren Chantal (husband Brian), Rheal "Buddy" and by his great-grandson Bryan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends. Augustine was the previous owner and operator of "Toots" confectionery store in Sudbury. She also worked as a sales clerk at Pennington's. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. East (at Notre Dame), Sudbury, Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at 11 a.m. in the Bishop Roger Despatie Chapel of the Co-operative Funeral Home, Sudbury. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

BERLONI, Romolo "Romeo" In loving memory of Romolo "Romeo" Berloni, 75 years, Wednesday afternoon, August 27th, 2003 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Memorial Site. Beloved husband of Fiorella predeceased 1978 and Rosetta of Sudbury. Loving father of Daniel and Patricia (husband Eric Mardero) both of Sudbury and stepdaughter Rosanna Nardi of Toronto. Cherished Nonno of Amanda, Daniela, Emilia, Adam and his pride and joy Matthew. Dear son of Tommasso and Clotilde both predeceased. Dear brother of Regina and Gabriele both of Italy. Born in Serrungarina, Pesaro, Italy he worked at the INCO Iron Ore Plant for over 30 years, retiring in 1983. Romeo owned and operated Romeo's Snack Bar in Cinottiville for 10 years. He was a Life Member of the Caruso Club and Marchigiani Association. Romeo was a devout and dedicated member of St. Stanislaus Church where he served as usher for over 4 decades. He was well known for his morning walks of Southview Dr., enjoying afternoons on his beach on Robinson Lake and his yearly winter visits to Acapulco. He was an excellent wine maker, an avid gardner and a wonderful handyman. He will be sadly missed but leaves a rich legacy of love and caring with family and friends, and especially his beloved grandchildren. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Stanislaus Church, Copper Cliff on Saturday, August 30th, 2003 at 10 a.m. Entombment in the family mausoleum at Sudbury Catholic cemetery. Donations to the Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation - Cardiac Equipment Fund or St. Stanislaus Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated. BIGRAS, Ernestine (née Gareau) The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at the age of 78 years. Daughter of the late Nisphore Gareau and of the late Alexina Gareau (née Giroux). Wife of the late Willie Bigras, predeceased in 1995. Loving mother of Cécile Kingsbury (husband Harvey), Carmen Rouleau (husband Norman predeceased), Daniel (friend Marguerite), Gaëtan (wife Darlene) and Jacques all of Sudbury, Vivianne Proulx and Henriette Clément (husband Jean) both of Ottawa and Yvon of Calgary. Dear sister of Angelina Kingsley (husbnd René predeceased) and Germaine Gaudette (husband Elmo predeceased). Predeceased by her brothers Alphonse (wife Ubaldine predeceased), Albert (wife Irène predeceased), Ligouri (wife Cécile predeceased), Léon (wife Justine of Sudbury), Cyprien, Achille (wife Yollande of Sudbury) and by her sisters Flore Miron- Lajeunesse and Jeanne Laberge (husband Henri predecased). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 21 grandchildren and by her 25 great grandchildren. The family will receie friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation and to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Beloved son of Laurie Drabick (partner Larry Brunette) of Hanmer. Loving grandson of Bev Drabick of Sudbury. Cherished nephew of Wayne (wife Maria) of Markstay; Cheri Meyrink of B.C. and Ken of B.C. Dear cousin of Katelyn, Shannon and Jenelle. Dear step son of Doug Hurley of Sudbury. He had recently graduated from C.R. Judd School in Capreol. He enjoyed all school sports, especially hockey. Marilyn left this world peacefully in the early hours with her dear Delphis at her side. Gone But Never Forgotten. Daughter of the late Joseph and Clara Hubert. Dear beloved companion of Delphis Ross of Sudbury. Loving mother of Diane (husband Marcellin Rivet) of Sturgeon Falls, Robert (companion Shelly) and Todd both of Windsor. Loving sister of Pat Ptaszynski (husband Leo) of Sudbury, Ron (wife Lorna) of Wiarton. Predeceased by her sisters, Jean Ransom, Doris (Albert Benvenutti), twin sister Diane Wahamaa Ross and by her brothers, Kenneth, Albert ("Abby"), Francis ("Red"), Wallace ("Buddy") and Gary. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Mathieu, Josée, Trevin, Keegan, Jessie and Ryker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Beloved wife of Jean-Henri "Henry" Lanthier predeceased 2000. Loving mother of Laureen Lanthier Quesnel (husband Guy) of Ottawa and John (wife Carolyn) of Wilmington, N.C. Cherished grandmother of Evan and Hannah. Dear sister of Eileen Tobin of Sudbury. Dear sister-in-law of Germaine Swinn (husband Moyle deceased), Ralph Lanthier (wife Jacqueline), Lucie Beauboin (husband Paul deceased), Madeleine Mayer (husband Gil), Marianne Gauthier (husband Reo) and Sherry Tobin all of Sudbury, and Claire Pelletier (husband Larry) of Gatineau. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Tobin, sisters Kathleen Condratto and Anastasia, and brothers Edward and Francis. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her nephew Bobby Condratto and his family whose extraordinary care and patience made Gen’s last years very enjoyable and possible. Bob was like a son to her, and to her sister Eileen who was her best friend and always there for her. "Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. GATIEN, Darlene Ann (Devon)
GATIEN, Darlene Ann (Devon) 1951 - 2006 Surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully at SRH-St. Joseph's Health Centre on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was the recipient of the first Bachelor of Mathematics Degree offered at St. Jerome's University and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Laurentian University. In 1975 she was awarded a CA designation. Community involvement was an important part of the life of this chartered accountant as witnessed by her contributions to a number of organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Shamrock Cooperative and Parish Council at her church. Of great pride to her was her seat on the boat of the Sudbury Canoe Club Dragons. She is survived by her loving children, David (Andrea Hodgins) of Sudbury, Michelle of Barrie, Christopher, Johanna, and Luc of Sudbury, her mother Velma Devon of North Bay, her sister Pat Priest (Jim) of Huntsville, her brother Garth Devon of Sudbury. Her quiet smile will be missed by many friends and relatives in particular; Brian of Sudbury, and Clary and Ida Gatien of Whitefish. She was predeceased by her father J.R. Devon of North Bay. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Greg, Gary, Matthew, Kari, Jessica, Kevin, Lisa, Jennifer, Andrew and Kailey. Loving daughter of Berthe (Boivin) Tessier of Sudbury and Moise Tessier predeceased. Dear sister of Gaetan (wife Pat), George (wife Paulette) and Suzanne McFarlane (husband Charlie) all of Elliot Lake, Nick (wife Joanne) of London, Robert of Sudbury and the late Gilbert Rheal, Claire and Rachelle all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in River Valley, she married Nick Geryk in 1959 in Garson. A longtime Garson resident, Colette was a Roman Catholic. GRAHAM, Elizabeth "Betty" Mae (nee Kumm) In loving memory of Elizabeth "Betty" Mae Graham (nee Kumm), 73 years, Thursday, February 9th, 2006 at the Extendicare-Falconbridge. Beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Graham predeceased 2003. Loving mother of Lloyd "Jim" (wife Terry) of Hanmer and Bruce of Capreol. Cherished grandma of Timothy, Jonathan, Nicholas, Annalisha, James and Brandon. Loving daughter of Herman and Gladys Kumm both predeceased. Dear sister of Blanche Antler and Joyce Laundry both of Eganville. Sadly missed by Anne Graham of Capreol, her nieces, nephew and their families, her roommates Ida Ornella, Joyce Hartman, Claire Desforge, her many friends and staff at Extendicare-Falconbridge and her beloved dogs, especially Duke. Betty was born in Eganville, she married Bob in 1951. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary just before Bob's passing. She loved summer best, from enjoying her many flowers to picking blueberries (always the biggest ones). HART, Therese G. It is with great sorrow that the family of Therese G. (Grignon) Hart, recently of Sudbury, announces her death at the age of 78 years on February 6th, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elliot Lake. Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Hart in 1985. Terry is survived by her three sons and their families; Eric, wife Claire, daughters Carolyn and Catherine of Elliot Lake; Paul, wife Nina, their children Jamie and Liam, of Toronto; and David, wife Kate of Newmarket. Terry will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, friends and special friend Ed Martin. Special appreciation to, as Terry called them, her "angels" of the ICU and 3rd floor at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elliot Lake. Memorial Service in the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, R.J.
