Daughter of the late Narcisse Lambert and of the late Marie Lambert (née Desbois). Beloved wife of David Girard of Sudbury. Wife of the late Gordon Vaillancourt. Loving mother of Yvonne Lapointe (husband Fern predeceased) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her daughter Suzanne. Dear sister of Noëlla, Eddie, René (wife Molly), Aurèle and Paul. Predeceased by her brothers Simon, Lucien, Armand, Rolland and by her sisters Delma, Irène, Anita and Delia "Judy". Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Michel "Mike", Ron (wife Monique), Denis, (fiancé Marty), Kim (husband Roger) and by her great-grandchildren Tanya, Dillon, Devin, Krysta, Rebbeca-Lynn, Maeve, Kayla, Kayla-Grace and Paige. Predeceased by her grandson Gordon. Sadly missed by David Girard's daughter Linda (husband Bruno Noël) and by his sons David and Donald and by his grandchildren Chantal (husband Brian), Rheal "Buddy" and by his great-grandson Bryan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends. Augustine was the previous owner and operator of "Toots" confectionery store in Sudbury. She also worked as a sales clerk at Pennington's. Beloved husband of Fiorella predeceased 1978 and Rosetta of Sudbury. Loving father of Daniel and Patricia (husband Eric Mardero) both of Sudbury and stepdaughter Rosanna Nardi of Toronto. Cherished Nonno of Amanda, Daniela, Emilia, Adam and his pride and joy Matthew. Dear son of Tommasso and Clotilde both predeceased. Dear brother of Regina and Gabriele both of Italy. Born in Serrungarina, Pesaro, Italy he worked at the INCO Iron Ore Plant for over 30 years, retiring in 1983. Romeo owned and operated Romeo's Snack Bar in Cinottiville for 10 years. He was a Life Member of the Caruso Club and Marchigiani Association. Romeo was a devout and dedicated member of St. Stanislaus Church where he served as usher for over 4 decades. He was well known for his morning walks of Southview Dr., enjoying afternoons on his beach on Robinson Lake and his yearly winter visits to Acapulco. He was an excellent wine maker, an avid gardner and a wonderful handyman. He will be sadly missed but leaves a rich legacy of love and caring with family and friends, and especially his beloved grandchildren. GATIEN, Darlene Ann (Devon) 1951 - 2006 Surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully at SRH-St. Joseph's Health Centre on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was the recipient of the first Bachelor of Mathematics Degree offered at St. Jerome's University and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Laurentian University. In 1975 she was awarded a CA designation. Community involvement was an important part of the life of this chartered accountant as witnessed by her contributions to a number of organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Shamrock Cooperative and Parish Council at her church. Of great pride to her was her seat on the boat of the Sudbury Canoe Club Dragons. She is survived by her loving children, David (Andrea Hodgins) of Sudbury, Michelle of Barrie, Christopher, Johanna, and Luc of Sudbury, her mother Velma Devon of North Bay, her sister Pat Priest (Jim) of Huntsville, her brother Garth Devon of Sudbury. Her quiet smile will be missed by many friends and relatives in particular; Brian of Sudbury, and Clary and Ida Gatien of Whitefish. She was predeceased by her father J.R. Devon of North Bay. HART, Therese G. It is with great sorrow that the family of Therese G. (Grignon) Hart, recently of Sudbury, announces her death at the age of 78 years on February 6th, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elliot Lake. Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Hart in 1985. Terry is survived by her three sons and their families; Eric, wife Claire, daughters Carolyn and Catherine of Elliot Lake; Paul, wife Nina, their children Jamie and Liam, of Toronto; and David, wife Kate of Newmarket. Terry will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, friends and special friend Ed Martin.
