Gildner John Cameron
Peacefully with his family by his side, at the Wiarton Hospital on Wednesday October 8th, 2003. Cameron Gildner of Oliphant in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Irene (McKenzie) Gildner. Dear father of Elizabeth Gildner of Toronto and Fred and his wife Penny of Oliphant. Grandad of Brittany and Brennen. Brother of Marion Stephenson of Wiarton and Beth (Bill) Spence of Barrie. Brother- in- law of Mary Murrell of Wiarton and Joan and Doug Poste of Oliphant.Predeceased by one son Thomas Cameron Gildner and one sister- in- law Clare Poste and two brothers- in- law Kris Morris and Bob Murrell. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Thursday October 9th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Cameron will be conducted at the Frank Street Baptist Church, Wiarton on Friday October 10th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Mark Elliott officiating. Donations to the Frank Street Baptist Church Ensemble, would be appreciated by the family.

Glenn Orville Allen
Peacefully at the Wiarton Hospital on Tuesday October 7th, 2003. Orville Glenn of Wiarton in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Norah (Fawcett) Glenn. Dear father of Marlene and her husband John Tidman of Sault Ste. Marie. Special grandfather of Erin Tidman and her fiance Brian Aurora, and Glenn Tidman of Sault Ste. Marie. Also survived by two sisters Viola Cherry, and Kay (Alex) McAllister both of Collingwood. At Orville's request Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at the George Funeral Home 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Friday October 10th at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wiarton Hospital or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Greig Gertie
passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Wiarton Hospital on Tuesday November 11, 2003. Gertie (Martin) Greig of Hepworth at the age of 87 years. Wife of the late Wilfred (Bill) Lawrence and the late Robert Greig. Loving mother of Joan Smith and her husband Keith of Hepworth and Terrie Lynn Clark and her husband Arnie of Owen Sound. Loving stepmother of Zealma Nickel and her husband Ott of Southampton; Ray Greig and his wife Gwen of Southampton; and Phyllis and her late husband Charles (Chuck) Greig of Brandon, Manitoba. Beloved grandmother of Doug Smith, Traci Smith, Roxanne McMillan, Christine Nelson, Glen Nickel, David Nickel, Bob Greig, Ray Greig, Teresa Feisthauer, Deb Kalagian, Kim Eikager, Curtis Greig and families. Sadly missed by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and by her pets Sandy and Toy. Predeceased by two sisters Vera Hunter and Mildred (Millie) Cutting. Friends may call at the George Funeral Home 430 Mary Street, Wiarton 534-0240 on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday November 15th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jack Fearnall officiating. Interment Bayview cemetery , Wiarton. As an expression of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to St. Andrews United Church in Hepworth, or the charity of your choice.

Gunson Clarence Kennedy
After a life well lived, at Gateway Haven Nursing Home on Wednesday October 15th, 2003. Clarence Gunson of Wiarton in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Kate (Davidson) who predeceased him in 1991. Clarence will be sadly missed by his children: Marion and her husband Carl Hardman of Mar, Tom and his wife Gail of Guelph, Bill of Peterborough and Shirley Morgan and her husband Neb Mkbrada of Toronto. He was the proud grandfather of Craig Gunson, Melanie Gunson (Matthias Bierensteil), Bryce Gunson, Katherine Hardman (Jeff Hingston), Susan Culliton (Shawn), Sebastian Morgan and Nathan Morgan. Great-grandfather of William Hardman-Hingston, Raymond, Owen and Jack Culliton. Clarence was predeceased by a grandson Lee and by his sisters Rena Braithwaite and Gladys Hill. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, October 17th at 2:00 pm with Mr. Al Leeder officiating. Interment Oxenden cemetery. If desired, donations in memory of Clarence to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Howard Virginia Louise
Peacefully at Gateway Haven, Wiarton on Monday October 6th, 2003. Virginia (Brown) Howard of Oliphant in her 82nd year. Beloved wife and partner for 54 years to John Howard. Dear mother of Patricia and her husband Doug Morden of Burlington; and Jennifer and her husband Dave Jury of Dundas. Special nana of Kitson, Alexis, Alicia, and Andrew. At Virginia's request cremation has taken place. The family will greet friends at their home, 535 Shoreline Ave in Oliphant on Saturday October 11th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and at Patricia's home, 210 Goodham Drive, Burlington on Saturday October 18th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. To our friends at Gateway Haven, our most heart felt thanks for the many acts of kindness you have given in the past. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton.

Lisk Doris Margaret
Peacefully at the Owen Sound Hospital on Friday September 5th, 2003. Doris (Given) Lisk of Wiarton in her 79th year. Wife of the late Harry Lisk. Dear mother of Nancy Scott and her husband Ivan; Cathy Gibson and her husband Mac; Karen Thomas and her husband Larry all of Wiarton and Ron and his wife Belinda of Orangeville. Special grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Sister of Jack (Bev) Given of Shakespeare. Sister-in-law of Elda Given of Dundas, Marjorie Schantz of Ayr and Grace Lisk of Clavering. Predeceased by one sister Eva Goodale and three brothers Reg, Norm and George. At Doris's request , the family had a private interment service at Colpoy's Bay cemetery. Donations to the Wiarton Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton.

McCoag Kathleen Mabel
Peacefully at Gateway Haven on Wednesday October 29, 2003. Kathleen (Greig) McCoag of Wiarton in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the Late George McCoag. Dear Sister of Leona Lembke of Wiarton. Aunt of Donald (Krista) Greig; David (Gilma) Greig; Donna Wilkinson; Kathleen Essex; and Elizabeth (Whitey) Voegeli. Kathleen will be missed by several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters Alma Potter and Agnes Wrigley and one brother Stanley Greig. A funeral service will be conducted from the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Saturday November 1st at 11:00 AM. with Rev. David Leggatt officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service time. Interment Bayview cemetery , Wiarton. Donations to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

McLay Isobel Violet
Peacefully at the Lion's Head Hospital on Monday September 29th, 2003. Isobel (Balls) McLay of Lion's Head in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Emerson McLay. Dear mother of Garry of Etobicoke; Peter of London; Beth and her husband Steve Lowe of Owen Sound; and Reg and his wife Brenda of Oakville. Special grandma of Stephanie Lowe, Robbie, Dan, and Sean McLay. The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted from Central United Church, Lion's Head on Thursday October 2nd at 2:00 PM with Rev. Audrey Brown officiating. Interment , Eastnor cemetery , Lions Head. Donations to the Lion's Head Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Roy Gertrude ( nee Turcotte ) - has gone to be with the Gardener of Life on November 4, 2003 at the age of 86 years. Dearest wife of the late Joseph Roy (2002 ) and loving mother of Jeannine & Tony Lombardo, Denis & Lucita Roy, Gloria & Marcel Dagenais, Bernard Roy, Irene & Wayne Thomas, Lucille & Michael Roy/Lesperance and Yvette & Gerard Lagace. She was very proud of her 10 grandchildren - Katerina & Patrick, Angelo, Michel & Michelle, David & Skye, Monique & Brian, Brent & Heather, Kristin, Daniel, Charles, and Anne-Marie and adored her 3 great grandchildren - Chantal, Gabriel and Rachel. Her family and friends will sadly miss her. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to The Grey Bruce Health Services Tobermory Clinic or the charity of your choice. A memorial mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Mission Church in Tobermory Ontario on Saturday November 8th at 11:00 A.M. Followed by interment at Dunk's Bay cemetery , Tobermory. Special opa of Sabina and Chris von Boetticher, David and Kimberly Kassik, Christina and Brandy Schmidt and great grandfather of Lucinda, Ryan, and Samantha. A funeral service will be conducted from the George Funeral Home 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Friday October 31st at 2:00 PM with Rev. Brad Mittleholtz officiating. Peacefully at the Owen Sound Hospital on Saturday October 4, 2003. Marilyn (Dean) Rydall of Tobermory and formerly of Milton in her 65th year. Beloved wife of Al Rydall. Dear mother of Lee and his wife Sue of Milton. Cherished grandmother of Kyle and Sean of Milton. Daughter in law of Eleanor Rydall and the Late Thomas Rydall and Carson Crane. Sister of Shirley Clark; Alvin and his wife Marion; Dennis and his wife Jane; Stephen and his wife Betty; Ian and his wife Robyn all of Tobermory. Sister in law of Lynda (Doug) Hull of Massie, Kevin and his wife Connie Crane of Sault Ste. Marie. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Orlon and Velma (Smith) Dean, and one brother in law Maurice Clark. The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Tuesday October 7th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Interment Dunk's Bay cemetery , Tobermory. Donations to the March of Dimes would be appreciated by the family.

Schade Shade Nelda Melinda
passed away at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton on Thursday October 23rd, 2003, just five days after her 86th birthday. The former Nelda Orth of Wiarton and formerly of Kemble and Listowel. Beloved wife of 62 years to Walden of New Horizon's retirement home, Wiarton. Loving mother of Stan and his wife Reta of Wiarton; and Eleanor and her husband Jim Martin of Welland; Predeceased by a son Allen (1993). Also survived by grandchildren Deb (Rob) Schyff of Listowel, Steve (Nancy) Schade of Wiarton, Doug Martin, Jannette Martin, and Brenda (Carmen) Bevacqua all of Welland; great grandchildren Becky and Jeni Schyff of Listowel, Braydon, Jenna and Jamie Martin all of Welland; sisters Nora Johnston of Listowel, Edna (Ken) Elgie of London, Violet George of Listowel and Beulah (Roy) Geisel of Burnaby, B.C.; Brothers-in-law Ralph Schade, Neil (Ruth) Schade all of Brussels as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by several sister and brother-in-laws. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 1st at 3:30 PM at Kemble United Church, Kemble Ontario with Rev. Deborah Murray officiating. Donations to the Day Away Program or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton.
