KEEN, Clarice Elizabeth - passed away after a stubborn battle, at Norfolk General Hospital on Saturday evening, February 2, 2002 in her 87th year. Clarice is sadly missed and fondly remembered by her husband Bill, sister Pauline, daughter Cheryl, son Martin, son-in-law Randy and daughter-in-law Mary. Her "stick-to-it-ivness" and love will live on in the hearts and minds of her grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, Marty, Jamie and Riley and great-grandson Douglas. Her loyalty will be cherished by Peggy Ridge, her friend of 50 years. Gramma was largely responsible for the promotion of the colours blue and green used in combination. Much beloved husband of Betty (nee Harp). Loving father of Sandy Willmette and her husband Dave of Brantford and Carolyn Cox and her husband Craig of Simcoe. Mr. Eley was a veteran of W.W.II serving overseas with the Hamilton Light Infantry. WEIR, William Morris "Bill" - formerly of Hamilton and more recently Simcoe. Surrounded by his family, Bill passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital on Monday, February 4th, 2002 in his 82nd year. Cherished husband and best friend of 60+ years to Audrey Weir of Simcoe. A loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, Bill will be sadly missed by his family, friends and many companions. Of his many accomplishments, Bill was a proud Veteran of WWII. After the war, he continued his service as a member of the Brick Layers & Masons Union - Local #1 in Hamilton. Upon moving to the Simcoe area, Bill became involved as an active member of the Simcoe Senior's Centre and continued his volunteer work with the Caring Cupboard and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
