KEEN, Clarice Elizabeth - passed away after a stubborn battle, at Norfolk General Hospital on Saturday evening, February 2, 2002 in her 87th year. Clarice is sadly missed and fondly remembered by her husband Bill, sister Pauline, daughter Cheryl, son Martin, son-in-law Randy and daughter-in-law Mary. Her "stick-to-it-ivness" and love will live on in the hearts and minds of her grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, Marty, Jamie and Riley and great-grandson Douglas. Her loyalty will be cherished by Peggy Ridge, her friend of 50 years. Gramma was largely responsible for the promotion of the colours blue and green used in combination. Please join us in a celebration of her life on Wednesday, February 6th, from 2 p.m. at Mary and Martin's home. Picture ELEY - Harold Francis: passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital on Wednesday, February 6, 2002 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Harold Eley of Victoria St., Simcoe in his 76th year. Much beloved husband of Betty (nee Harp). Loving father of Sandy Willmette and her husband Dave of Brantford and Carolyn Cox and her husband Craig of Simcoe. Cherished grandfather of Stephen Snively (Cynthia), Jeff Snively, Harold Coulson (Linda), Carrie Ann Adcock, Bill Willmont, Tammy Parbanik and friend Shawn, Lori Packard (Ed), Betty Lewis and Debbie Harley-Cox (Tim). Mr. Eley is also survived by his 15 great-grandchildren, brother; Harry Eley of Simcoe, sister-in-law; Joanna Chivers of Simcoe and nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by his parents; Horace and Olive Eley, brothers Ed and Walter, sisters-in-law Dorothy and Thelma. Mr. Eley was a veteran of W.W.II serving overseas with the Hamilton Light Infantry. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, February 7, from 7-9 p.m. at the FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe. A private interment will take place at a later date. Those wishing may donate to the Children's Wish Foundation.

RAINEY, Florence "Marjorie" (nee Swift) - Went home to be with her precious Lord and Savior at the Dover Cliffs Versa Care Centre on Thursday, February 7th, 2002 in her 88th year. Faithful and loving wife for 67+ years of James Rainey, formerly Waterford, presently Dover Cliffs, Port Dover. Dear mother of Keith Rainey and his wife Jan of Waterford. Grandma is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kim McPherson and her husband David of Simcoe, their daughters Beth and Lindsay; Daryl Rainey and his wife Valerie of Waterford and their son Mitchell; Shaunne Rainey and his wife Arlene of Waterford and their children Aaron, Wesley, Julia and Isaiah; Dean Rainey of Toronto and Leigh Rainey of Waterford. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Rainey (1971); three sisters and one brother. The family sorrows, but is also greatly comforted with the hope that only God provides. RASOKAS: Elizabeth Rasokas a resident of Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe and formerly of Tillsonburg passed away at the Nursing Home on Saturday, February 2, 2002 in her 85th year. Born on May 8, 1917 in Taurage, Lithuania she was a daughter of the late Jonas and Anne (Kasparaitis) Voverius. Loving mother of Regina Homeniuk and husband Fred of Waterford, Jerry Rasokas and wife Renate of Tillsonburg, Peter Rasokas and wife Paula of Delhi, and Raymond Rasokas and wife Carol of Wallaceburg. Sadly missed by her 7 grandchildren; Brenna, Amber, Thomas, Daniel, Andrew, Elyssa, and Tamara and a great grandson Tadhg. Dear sister of Marta Janulis and husband Peter. Predeceased by her husband George Rasokas (1976), a son Romaldas Rasokas, her 3 sisters Agute, Mary and Ona and a brother Joseph Voverius. Mrs. Rasokas' family will receive friends at OSTRANDER'S FUNERAL HOME, Tillsonburg on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Ostrander Chapel on Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ronald Mohr of St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiating. STALEY, Marporiealeen (Marpy) Peacefully on February 6, 2002 at the Norfolk General Hospital in her 95th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Waverley Staley and her daughter Elinor Jean Barber. WEIR, William Morris "Bill" - formerly of Hamilton and more recently Simcoe. Surrounded by his family, Bill passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital on Monday, February 4th, 2002 in his 82nd year. Cherished husband and best friend of 60+ years to Audrey Weir of Simcoe. A loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, Bill will be sadly missed by his family, friends and many companions. Of his many accomplishments, Bill was a proud Veteran of WWII. After the war, he continued his service as a member of the Brick Layers & Masons Union - Local #1 in Hamilton. Upon moving to the Simcoe area, Bill became involved as an active member of the Simcoe Senior's Centre and continued his volunteer work with the Caring Cupboard and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. At Bill's request, a private family reception will be held at Bill's home at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations payable to the Norfolk Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Bezzo, Victor "Bill" After a courageous battle on Monday July 29, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital in his 81st year. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Winnifred Bezzo. Special friend of Kathy. Gaston, Kevin Marshall After a courageous battle on Saturday July 27, 2002 he passed away peacefully in his 42nd year. Son of the late Marshall Gaston (1995) and Kathleen Gaston. Son in law of William "Bill" Godlouski and the late Germaine Godlouski (1998). Beloved husband and best friend of Mary Ann Gaston. Special loving and giving father of Jessica Gaston (Adam Horvath), Justine Gaston, Stephanie Gaston, Kayla Gaston and Sarah Gaston. Proud Papa of Kyla Gaston.
