DAVIS - Brad Scott As a result of tragic accident on Saturday July 27, 2002. Brad Scott Davis of Norwich at the age of 17. Cherished son of Scott & Maria Davis of Norwich. Beloved brother of Kelly , Michelle and Trevor. Beloved grandson of Jack and Pat Boeder of Norwich, Laverne and Mae Davis of Waterford. Special nephew and cousin of Patty and Bob DeBoer and their children Brennan, Justin and Marissa; Nieske and Larry Hansford and their children Ryan and Brittany; Deb and Jerry Ryksen and their children Maria, Shane, Jeremy and Chantel; Ella and Al Berrill and their daughter Emily; Dwayne and Deb Davis and their children Monica , Jeremy and Tanya; Kevin Davis and friend Leah; Sharon Davis; Andre and Donna Davis and their children Amber and Shaunna; Darren and Brenda Davis and their children Jenny-Lee, Adam and Julia ; Joe Davis. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W., Norwich on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Netherlands Reformed Congregation, Norwich on Thursday August 1 at 2 pm D.V. Rev Spaans officiating. Burial to follow at Norwich cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rehoboth Christian School would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. BENCICS: Kenneth Dean - taken suddenly as the result of a motorcycle accident on Monday July 29, 2002 Kenneth Dean Benscics of Walsingham in his 44th year. Survived by sister Karen Veres & her husband Robert and his nephew Adam all of Simcoe. Sadly missed by his grandparents Sam & Betty Yarduck of Souix Lookout. Close companion to Wendy Hill of Walsingham. Predeceased by father Kenneth Bencsics (1981) mother Virginia Yarduck Bencics (1985) and brother Mark Allan Bencics (1961). Dean will be missed by many friends in the motorcycle circle. Relatives and friends will be received at the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home 36 Front Street, Port Rowan on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from the Clark Chapel on Saturday , August 3, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Racz, Elizabeth - (formerly of Adams Ave., Delhi) passed away peacefully with her family at her side, at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, July 27, 2002 in her 98th year. Member of the Delhi District Hungarian Home and Ladies Society, St. John Brebeuf Catholic Women's League and former member of Vienna Lionettes. Former Elizabeth Jenei. Beloved wife of Late Bernard Racz (1979). Dear mother of Frank Racz (and wife Jacqueline), Joliette, Quebec and Margaret Juhasz, Tillsonburg. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear mother-in-law of Marion Racz, Vienna. Also survived by brothers and sisters in Hungary and several nieces and nephews in Hungary and Canada. Predeceased by 2 sons: Joseph Racz (1963); Charles Racz (2002); son-in-law, Joseph Juhasz (1992) and by family in Hungary. Funeral Mass to be held at St. John Brebeuf & Companions Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Wednesday, July 31 at 10 a.m. said by Rev. Fr. Mark Poulin. Interment St. Ladislaus cemetery , Courtland. Formally married to the late Isaac VanGoethem. Loving mother of Richard (Carol) VanGoethem, Rose Mary (Joe) Mule, Robert (Leda) VanGoethem, Jeannette (Martin) DeCroos, John (Carol) VanGoethem. Predeceased by her daughter Marion VanGoethem. Special grandmother to twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Predeceased by one grandson. Sister to Vera Ritchie. Predeceased by her brothers Arthur, Russell, Wilfred, George and John Churchill and sisters Mary O'Conner and Florence Mahon. BLACK, Velma Josephine (nee: Hope) - (Guelph General Hospital - Graduate 1942) - Suddenly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive on Monday, November 25, 2002 in her 84th year. Beloved daughter of the late George Hope and Alliea Ray Maxwell Hope of Chesley, Ontario. Dear mother and best friend of Anne Stoner and husband Bob of Peterborough and Bill Black of Kingston. Loving grandma of Jeremy and Adam Stoner. Predeceased by sister Jean Hope and brother Ray Hope of Chesley, Ontario. Velma was a longtime member of Trinity United Church and the U.C.W. She worked tirelessly as a member of the Canadian Mental Health Association. She was a founding member of the Family Caregiver Network and the Peterborough Chapter of the Schizophrenic Society of Ontario. Norman lived and farmed in the Village of Walsh for most of his life and was a longtime adherent of Walsh Baptist Church.
