Anne McCormack was the beloved wife of the late John McPherson McCormack for 55 years. Dear mother to John (Eva Marrie), Joseph (Carol), and Anne Christina (Frank). Grandmother to Christian, Andrew, Allyson, Katherine, Sarah and Nathan. Great grandmother to Ceilidh and Keegan. Survived by sister Mary Clark in B.C., brother Joseph DeLacey, sister in law Mary DeLacey in Oregon and sister in law Anna McCormack in Scotland. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Michael’s Church, Cobourg (corner of University Ave. and Division Street) on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Michael’s cemetery , Cobourg. GERROW, Donald - Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday August 10th, 2010 with family by his side, Donald Gerrow at 71 years of age. Beloved husband of Winnifred “Winnie” (nee Taylor). Loving father of Wendy Brown (the late Thomas), Doug and predeceased by infant child Donna. Dear grandfather to his special granddaughter Elizabeth and grandson, the late Robert. Donald will also be missed by his siblings Mary Lannigan (Murray), Bertha Jessome (the late Bernie), Cathy Reid (Roy), Bobbie (the late Marie) and Clevie (Winnie). Predeceased by brothers Ted, Harold, George, Jimmy, Joseph, sister Virginia and 3 sisters in infancy. Donald was an avid golfer and bowler and he will be missed dearly by his family, friends and his many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call the MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St., E. Edith Mary Battersea
January 17, 1922 - July 26, 2010

Edith Mary Battersea born in Nuneaton England died July 26, 2010 at the age of 88 at her residence (Extendicare/Landmark) in Cobourg. At her request no formal service will be held. A small gathering of friends and family will be scheduled at a later time. Edith was an exceptionally kind person. Everybody that had the pleasure of knowing her admired her for her sense of humour, her kind nature and for the never-ending support and help she gave to her family and friends. Edith's special joy included her regular scrabble games. Edith is loved and will be missed by all. Edith was a devoted wife to her husband John Terrance Battersea (pre-deceased). She is survived by her son and his wife Clive & Celine; her daughter Jacquline Manning and partner Richard Sherman; daughter and husband Suzanne & Laurie Brown; six grandchildren Kim & Kelly Battersea, Tammy Manning, Steven, Cheryl (Todish) and Jennifer Brown; nine great grand children and three great-great grand children. The family would like to thank all those at Extendicare/Landmark for the care and kindness shown during Edith's entire stay right to her passing. Edith spoke highly of the staff and the friends she found at her home.

Vera, formerly of Cobourg and in recent years, Norwood is survived by her step daughter, Nadine (Roly) Grimshaw and nephews, Paul (Barb) Sherwin and David (Bev) Sherwin. She will be remembered by her great nieces and nephews and their children. She was the daughter of the late George and Edith Sherwin. Predeceased by her husband, Harry Landymore, brother Harry (Helen) Sherwin and stepson Lyle (Rowena) Landymore.
