Daughter of the late Ethel and Bill Wilson. Predeceased by husband Lloyd Hall, brother Laverne Wilson, sister Hazel Wheeler and special friend Bill Adams. Sister of Stan Wilson of Oshawa. Devoted mother of Carole Hall of Toronto and Gail Hall of St. Walburg, Saskatchewan. Loving grandmother of Donna Lee Doran of Saskatchewan and Morgan and Taylor Hall of Toronto. Mabel was a very hard working woman and a very fun person who embraced life fully. She loved to travel and enjoyed many trips to Hawaii and St. Maarten and many other destinations. She was a very creative person and has left many needlepoints and beautiful hand quilted blankets in this world. Mabel loved to dance and dress up at Halloween. Born in Toronto on February 9, 1921 to Henry Fullerton and Muriel Fullerton (nee Dick). He later served in the Royal Canadian Artillery in Labrador and Canada in WWII. Educated at Lakefield College School and Ridley College School and later at Queen’s, McGill and Sir George Williams Universities. Joined his grandfather’s firm, Cobourg Matting and Carpet Co. Taught science and mathematics in Trenton and Port Hope high schools. Former Councillor for the Town of Cobourg. Director of the Cobourg Y and The Children’s Aid Society. Commanding Officer 14th Field Battery Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps. Member of the RCMI, Toronto and DKE fraternity. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (corner of College St. and King St. E. in Cobourg) on Thursday, April 9 at 2 p.m. Interment at a later date at the Heritage cemetery of St. Peter in Cobourg. Evelyn and Archie have been living in Waterloo for the past two and a half years and she will be fondly remembered by many former friends and neighbours in Cobourg.
