Much loved mother of Ralph (Pat) of Cumberland Beach, Barry (Gloria) of Nova Scotia, Jeanette (Terry Hubbell) of Orillia, Harold (Judy) of Sutton. Loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Dear sister of Francis Nardilli of Bradford, Gordon Logan (Doris) of Campbellford, Doris Deveraux of Toronto, and the late George, Jackie, Robert and Jim. Terry and I had the privilege of having Mom at our place for fifteen months before going to the nursing home. Many thanks to Com Care, Red Cross, Bayshore Nursing, C.C.A.C. and Barb Luoma, Sylvia & Amanda Trousdale for the wonderful care. Mom then went into Trillium Manor for six months. In that time she won the hearts of the precious, caring, compassionate staff. Mom never complained; always grateful and appreciative. A special thank you to Dr. Harry Hall for his gentle mannerism and undivided attention while attending Mom. Ruth will be sadly missed by her son-in-law Al Larocca of Memphis, Tennessee, sisters-in-law Marj (Ivan) Reynolds of Georgetown and Vera (Wesley) Brown of Fort Erie and brother-in- law Jim Brown of Sault Ste. Marie. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and all who knew her. Predeceased by her son, Bradley; daughter Gail Larocca; sister Noreen Welch; brothers Jim, Jack and Ivan Reynolds and her parents, Frank and Margaret (Nickle) Reynolds. McCULLOCH, Blanche - Gently, in Chesley's Parkview Manor, in the early hours of Friday, October 6th, 2006, in her 87th year, the former Blanche Alma Jean Stewart, the cherished wife of Hugh W. McCulloch of Chesley, formerly of the 12th of Bruce. In addition to her husband, Blanche leaves behind several Thompson and Stewart cousins, in-laws, Elsie and Paul Orr of Ohio and Fraser and Betty McCulloch of Southampton, and a host of fond nieces and nephews. On Monday, October 9th, 2006, friends called at the W. KENT MILROY PAISLEY CHAPEL, between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On October 10th at 11:00 a.m. funeral services were held in Paisley's Knox United Church with the Rev. Judy Zarubick officiating. Six nephews served as pallbearers; Bill McCulloch, Terry Wood, Don McCulloch, Carl McCulloch, David McKinnon and Jim McCulloch. Lewis and Marilyn Coffman played her favourite hymns. Anne Joslyn, Blanche's friend of sixty years, and Sue Little, a niece, contributed remembrances. Nieces Anne Klages, Siobhan Orr, and Nancy Harlton were flower beares. Interment followed immediately in Sanctuary Park cemetery , Port Elgin. A fellowship and remembrance luncheon in the church basement followed.
