Suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at the age of 77 years, Velma Ritchie Solomon, of the Saugeen First Nation, wife of Patrick Solomon, mother of Donald of Owen Sound Hank and his wife Sharon of Saugeen First Nation, David and Roderick, both of Owen Sound, Bonnie McCue of Niagara Falls, Sally Solomon Kellestine of Sarnia, and Tim ol Barrie. Velma is survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, one sister Louise Mitchell of Saugeen First Nation, and is predeceased by one son Ronald, and by one grandson, by her sisters Alvina Nashkewa, Thelma Ritchie, and Myrtle Austin, and brothers Wilson, Nelson and Leslie Ritchie..

At the Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Friday. Sept. 28 2001, at the age of 83 years, the former Edith Yuill. Wife of Donald Alexander McAngus of Paisley. Dear mother of Donald McAngus and his wife Debbie of Paisley, and James Hopper and his wife Nancy of Sarnia. Grandma of Sarah, Graham, Bree-Ann and Kevin.
