The Star that shines the brightest is now ours. That’s our husband, our dad, our papa. Surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at the farm he closed his eyes for a peaceful sleep. He now joins his dad Bill (1982), mother Margaret (2003), and gets to meet his Sister Donna (1938). Born February 13th, 1939, Doug Currah of R.R.#3 Oil Springs, attended Ridgetown Agricultural College and farmed his whole life and built numerous pole barns and houses all over Lambton County. Loving him forever and always are his wife of 37 years, Mary Jane (nee McNnight), his son Darryl and fiancee Kim of Sarnia and his daughter and “Darling” Leigh-Anne and her husband and one of Doug’s best buddies and on call partner John Siebert of Kingsville. Cherished Papa to Brittany, Daniele, Julie, Mark Douglas, Chelsea, and Rachel.
