Ltd., and was chosen the recipient of the Time Magazine Quality Dealer of the Year in 1986; he served his country during World War 2 as an aero engine mechanic with the R.C.A.F.; he was a member and past-master of Huron Masonic Lodge #392 (Camlachie), a member of Washington Masonic Lodge #260 (Petrolia), a member of Sarnia Lodge of Perfection, London Sovereign Chapter Rose Croix, Hamilton Moore Consistory, Lambton Shrine Club, London Mocha Temple, Legion of Honour Unit, the 2003 recipient of the John Ross Matheson Award for Distinguished Service, past-president of the Rotary Club of Petrolia and a Paul Harris Fellow and a member of St. Paul’s United Church, Petrolia.. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church in Petrolia, past president of the United Church Women at Dunlop United Church in Sarnia, and a life member of the U.C.W.
