It is with great sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our son Ian, in his 18th year. Survived by his devoted parents Les and Marsha Hildebrand, beloved grandson of Trudy Hildebrand, the late Henry Hildebrand, and the late Frank and Anna Hagar. Nephew/cousin of Joan, and the late Murray Dunn, Jennifer, Richard and Tyler Dunn, Maggie Hildebrand and Tony, Amanda and Melissa Lucciola, Ken and Lou Hildebrand, Carol and Mike Koblyka, Irene, Harold, Nolan and Shelby Hagar, Fred, Lisa, Josh, and Jessie Hildebrand, Bob, Robin and Matthew Hildebrand, Joyce Hildebrand and Steve. Ian was a kindhearted and gentle soul who embraced life despite having some major obstacles to overcome. He had been a member of the Niagara Symphony Music School for several summers, Pelham Cub and Scout Pack, E.L. Crossley Concert Band and Sugarloaf Sailing Club. He earned his purple belt at the Joe Fournier DoJo. Ian loved skiing with his friends in the terrain park at Holiday Valley, fishing, swimming and of course the hottub. Ian loved animals both domestic and wild, especially the ones up at Lake 96. His pride and joy was his 1989 Chrysler Le Baron convertible. Ian never accepted failure. He would just say I'll have to do better the next time. He is now driving with his angels.
