MOHR, Alfred - With peace and dignity, and with his wife and son at his bedside, Alfred Mohr passed away on April 23, 2007 at the Trillium Specialty Care Center at the age of 82. Alfred courageously fought Parkinson's disease for the past 11 years. Alfred is survived by is wife of 57 years, Gertrude Mohr (Kingston, Ontario), his son, Steven Mohr (Calgary, Alberta), predeceased by his daughter-in-law Claire Mohr), and brother & sister-in-law, Gerhard & Elfriede Schuckert (Kingston, Ontario). Respected by all and admired by many, he will be sorely missed by those who knew him and his family that loved him. May he be in God's graces. He was employed for some 37 years as a master industrial electrician at Atlas Steels. During the Second World War Ronald bravely served his country heroically overseas for four years in Italy, Holland and the Mediterranean campaigns with the Royal Canadian Artillery.
