He loved his yearly canoe trips with his cousins, golfing at Pinewood and playing crib with friends on Tuesday nights. He was happiest when relaxing in his lazyboy chair with a diet coke, a bowl of popcorn watching old John Wayne movies over and over again. Garfield, you were taken from us before your time, but we know that God has a special purpose for you and your sense of humour in heaven. We will always love you.

I know your life on earth was troubled And only you could know the pain You weren't afraid to face the devil You were no stranger to the rain Go rest high on that mountain Son, your work on earth is done Go to heaven a shoutin' Love for the Father and son oh, how we cried the day you left us we gathered round your grave to grieve I wish I could see the angels faces when they hear your sweet voice sing. written by Vince Gill.
