passed away peacefully at North Bay General Hospital (Scollard site) on October 25, 2003. Beloved husband of Corrine Passmore of North Bay. Loved father of Linda (Ron) Gravelle of Callander, Ted (Joanne) Passmore of Elmira and Jim (Judy) Passmore of North Bay. Loving grandfather of Ron Jr. (Tammy), Glen (Cindy), Mindy (Dave), Luke (Jessica), Adam, Tracy, Erin and Kristen and his great grandchildren Tyler, Riley, Tori, Brodie and Blake. Sadly missed by his sisters Elsie Lawrence of Lively, Joy Humphrey of North Bay, Noreen (Jock) Hall of Toronto, Jerry Passmore and Del (Brenda) Passmore of North Bay. Predeceased by his first wife Beatrice and his brothers Bert, Allan and Don. By his request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A interment service will be held Thursday October 30th, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn cemetery with Rev. Elizabeth Fraser officiating.

GALLANT - Owen
Drew and Wendy Gallant were proud to meet and welcome Hannah's new little brother, Owen into their lives on October 29, 2003. Owen's strength kept him with them for only a short while, but a visit worth every cuddle and every tear. Owen will be terribly missed and forever cherished by Mummy, Daddy, Hannah and many family and friends. Lee - Muriel
It is with deep regret, the family wishes to announce the death of Mrs. Muriel Lee. Muriel passed away Thursday December 20, 2001. She was a wonderful lady with a heart of gold and had been fighting Cancer for the past ten years. The former Muriel Thurlow was the daughter of William (Bill) Thurlow and Minerva Ostrom. She was born May 14, 1934 at Widdifield Station. She married Oliver Lee April 7, 1952. In earlier years she worked to help support the family, and later she enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, and researching her family ancestry. Her family was her greatest joy. She will be greatly missed by her husband Oliver, her daughters Mrs. Sharon Wilson (Harold), Mrs. Marilyn Ulrick (Colin), Mrs. Barbara Stillar (Sheldon), Mrs. Beverly King (Autry), Susan King (partner Robin Couche). She is also survived by sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Bailey (Willis deceased), Mrs. Joan Veinott (Bob), Mrs. Marion Bainbridge (Jack), Mrs. Shirley Rich (Wilfred), Mrs. Vivian Jocko (Paul deceased) and sister-in-law Mrs. Jocelyne Thurlow (Glen deceased). Also survived by 10 grandchildren, Kerry, Sherry, Eric, Robert, Vicki, Natalie, Dustin, Diana, Janice, and Ouriana and 5 great grandchildren, Christopher, Aaron, Mitchell, Alanta and Tenarraw. She was predeceased by her father in 1958, her mother May 14, 2000, son Robert in 1956 and two brothers Glen in 1995 and Jackie in 1933. Loving mother of Elmer (Christine) of Rutherglen and Laura Lee Boissonneault (Luc) of Bonfield. Sadly missed by grandchildren Krista Rose and Sheldon and Trevor Boissonneault. Survived by her sister Annetta Campbell of Toronto and her brother David McLaren of Sudbury. Predeceased by her sister Inez Plachner. Eleanora was a resident of Cassellarms II and will be remembered for her great home cooking, luscious vegetable & flower gardens, her love for all animals and her open arms to all people. Her accomplishments include life-time memberships with both the Bonfield Agricultural Society and Rutherglen Women's Institute. Eleanora played a very large part in her community by volunteering in numerous groups and organizations for over 50 years including the UCW, the 4-H Club and the Rutherglen Choral Society. Loving father of Michael (Betty), Meredith (Margaret), Marilyn (Sandy), Malcolm (Judy). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Tammy Michelle (deceased), Jeff (Barb), Carrie-Anne (Mike), Bradley (Kim), Christopher, Andrew, Brandon, Court, Nathanial, Mackenzie and great-grandchildren Tamara, Kaitlynn and Hailey. Survived by sisters Norma, Elizabeth and nephew Malcolm (Phylis) of Montreal. His hobbies included stamp collecting, golfing and fishing. He was a member of Branch 599 Legion and of the Masonic Lodge Scottish Rite. His greatest passion was performing as a magician. Iva Yeoman (nee Laycox) passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 25, 2004, at the age of 81. Predeceased by her loving husband Grant. Loving grandmother of Maeghan, Tyler, Carolyn, Brandon, Connor, Carley and Graeme. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. It is with profound sadness that Raimo (Ray) and Kaarina announce the passing of their beloved Aiti, Grandma and Mumma on Saturday, June 19th, 2004 at the North Bay General Hospital in her 100th year. She was the wife of the late Kosti Tulisalo (1950). Cherished Aiti of son Raimo and daughter Kaarina, loved grandma of Tina and James and treasured Mumma of Jessica. Predeceased by her daughter Hilkka Susanna (1936), and in Finland by her parents Herman and Susanna Niemi, her brothers Jussi, Jaska, Herman and Masa and her sisters Maija and Alma. Her beloved sister Senja passed away February 1st, 2004 in New Jersey. She is also survived by her nephew Jorma and his family in New Jersey and nieces Kerttu and Hilkka and nephews Eero, Lauri, Jorma and Mauno and their families in Finland. Special "Aiti" to Liisa, Russell, Jason, Sarah, Will, Abby, Betty, Pat, Anita, Dennis and Kelly. Lovingly remembered as "Mrs. T." and the "Cookie Lady" by Joan and her family in Rhode Island and by her friends in North Bay and Waterloo. Ray and Kaarina were truly blessed to have had such a wonderful mother who filled their lives with such deep abiding love and joy and who made them her "life's work".
