Joseph Fernand "Frank" Coutu

1924 -2002

On Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at St. Vincent de Paul Hospital; Joseph Fernand "Frank" Coutu at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Fairbourn) Coutu. Loving father of Greg Coutu and his wife Joy, and Paul Coutu. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Danielle and Justin. Also survived by his brother Marcel Coutu of St. Felix, Quebec, and by his dear friend Alena Forbes of Brockville. Brother-in-law to Gert and Charlie Buell of Mallorytown and Jack and Bev Fairbourn of Brockville.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 7-9pm. In celebration of Frank's life a ceremony will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow at Oakland cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged. Officers and Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 96, will assemble for the Legion Tribute on Friday evening at 6:45pm.

Donald Thomas George Greene

1923 - 2002

At the Brockville General Hospital on February 4th, 2002 in his 79th year . Beloved husband of Mary Hawkins Greene of Athens. Dear father of Doug Greene of Athens, Phyllis Ogilvie (Dwight ) and Beverly Conley (Ron) all of Brockville, Marilyn Greene Phillips (Todd) of Brockville, Donna McCann (Arnel) , and Shirley Sheffield (Gary) all of Athens and Rod Greene (Sharon) of Frankville . Fondly remembered by 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Dear brother of Wilma Halliday (Wilfred) of R.R. 2 Lyn, Trixie Mercier (Donald), Violetta Preston (Joe),and Harvey Greene all of R.R. 4 Athens, and May White of R.R. 4 Prescott. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Jessie Greene of Algonquin. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Nellie Greene, by brothers Carl and Gordon and by one great grandson Corbin Ogilvie.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville from Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In celebration of Donald's life a ceremony will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 am. Interment will be in Ballycanoe cemetery at a later date. In remembrance, donations to the Believers Covenant Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.

Frances Mary Hayes

1915 - 2002

On Tuesday, February 5th, 2002 at St. Lawrence Lodge after a brief illness; the former Frances Mary McLean at the age of 86 years. Beloved mother of Jack Hayes & his wife Betty Ann of Athens, and Janet Hurlbert & her husband Ray of Brockville. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Randy, Christie and Kerri Hayes; Rodney Hurlbert, Tracy Westerman and Christine Turco and by ten great grandchildren

In celebration of Frances' life a ceremony will be held in the Chapel of Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, February 7th at 1 o'clock with a gathering to follow in the funeral home Reception Centre. In remembrance, donations to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses or to St. Lawrence Lodge will be gratefully acknowledged.

Eleanore Margaret Ross

1932 - 2002

Peacefully at her Brockville home after a brief illness on Wednesday, February 6th, 2002; the former Eleanore Margaret Empey at the age of 69 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Ross. Loving mother of Rick Ross, Gord Ross & his wife Theresa, and Terry Anne Ross all of Brockville. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jerry & his friend Angie, Patty & Chris, and by her great grandchildren Jonathan and Cole. Also survived by her brother Don Empey & his friend Gwen Meldrum. Predeceased by her brother Doug Empey.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Saturday, February 9th from 11am until 12:45 pm. In celebration of Eleanore's life a ceremony will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow at Oakland cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.

Mrs. Leta Belden

1909 - 2002

Entered into rest peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville on Thursday, February 7, 2002. Leta Flora Belden at 92 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Cassius Belden and loving mother of Cassius Belden of Brockville and Ron Belden (Ann) of Lennoxville. Dear grandmother of Andrew Sparkes and Karen Sparkes-Layer ( Chris ) and great grandmother of Nicholas and Alexandra Layer. Predeceased by her brother Elbridge J. Adams.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Monday from 11:30 until 12:45 p.m. Ceremony in celebration of Leta's Life will be held in the chapel at 1 o'clock. Interment will take place in Oakland cemetery at a later date. In remembrance donations to the Mary Jane Hawkins Foundation C/O the St. Lawrence Lodge will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

Shawn M. Jollimore

1959 - 2002

Quietly at home February 1, 2002; aged 42 years. Beloved husband of Karen for 22 years. Devoted father of Jennifer of Toronto and Mallory of Brockville, of whom he was deeply proud. Predeceased by father Keith, Brother Chris and sister Cindy Brisson. Also predeceased by dear father-in-law Tom Roberts of Toronto. Shawn is survived by his mother Carole Murray and her husband Warren of Halifax, brother Todd and his wife Dana of Brockville and brother Robin and his wife Neda of Toronto. Shawn is also celebrated by brother-in-law Jack Brisson and nephews Jarret, Elliot and Cale of Toronto, and Kevin and Dustin Jenkins of Brockville. Beloved son-in-law to Margaret Roberts and brothers-in-law Wayne and Alan of Toronto.

To Know him was to love him. He sadly missed by his family and many friends.

A private family gathering was held at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville.

In lieu of flowers, a fund for the care and education of Mallory is being arranged care of Todd Jollimore, 111 Orchard St., Brockville, Ontario K6V-2J9.

Mrs. Renate Anthofer

1927 - 2002

On Tuesday, February 12th, 2002 at the Brockville General Hospital after a brief illness; Renate Sonya (Gronwald) Anthofer at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Tony Anthofer. Loving mother of Evelyn Patterson and her husband Douglas of Brockville, and Jeffrey Anthofer and his wife Debbie of Richmond Hill. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Kelly Amell & her husband Christopher, Lindsay Patterson & her fiance Keith Hustins, Michelle and Michael Anthofer; and by her great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Douglas, Sydney and Samantha Amell. Also survived by her sister Gerda of Montreal.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the home of Evelyn and Douglas Patterson, 126 Margaret Place, Brockville, on Wednesday, February 13th from 1pm - 8pm. In remembrance, donations to the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care or the charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged.

Tina Trickey

1940 - 2002

Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on February 12, 2002 in her 62nd year. Beloved wife of Robert Trickey. Dear mother of John Onland of Vancouver, Gertie Burmingham of Gananoque, Michael Onland of Brockville, Michelle Trickey of Barrie and Robert Trickey Jr. of Brockville. Sadly missed by eleven grandchildren. Sister of Eastbran, Onie and Gary Vanhoek, Susan Smith, Dineke Monday and Petie Jannack.

Family and friends may call at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville on Thursday from 11am until 1pm when funeral services will be held in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In remembrance, donations to Hospice of Providence Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.

Iva Zella Gilder

1915 - 2002

Peacefully at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville, on Wednesday, February 13th, 2002; the former Iva Zella Everett at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles Gilder. Loving mother of Kent Gilder and his wife Anna of Brockville and Judith Borbas and her husband Robert of Salt Spring Island, B.C. Fondly remembered by her grandsons Peter Gilder of Brockville, and Marc Borbas of Vancouver, as well as by her special friend Doris Strader of Prescott. Predeceased by her grandson Michael Gilder, by her sisters Lou Richardson of Toronto and Alberta Everett of Ottawa, and brothers James Everett of Brockville, and Zidon Everett of Iroquois.

Family and friends may gather for a Celebration of Zella's life at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday evening, February 15th from 7-9pm. Private interment at Oakland cemetery. In remembrance, donations to M.A.D.D., the Parkinsons Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
