Entered into rest at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville on November 15, 2003 at the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late Rod MacDonald and Pearl (Gillespie) MacDonald. Helen graduated from the Halifax Infirmary in 1954 and practiced Nursing in both New Glasgow and British Columbia. She is survived by her son Ross, his wife Claudia and granddaughters Natasha and Michaela in Brockville, Ontario. Also by sisters of Marguerite MacDonald and Sr. Mary Joan MacDonald of New Glasgow, Brother Norm in Dryden, Ontario and Roddie in New Glasgow, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her husband Reid Dennison, brothers Lloyd and Douglas MacDonald and sister Dorothy MacDonald Stofer.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday in the R. H. Porter Funeral Home New Glasgow. A prayer vigil will place at 1.45. Funeral services will be held 10 am Thursday in St John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church in New Glasgow. Burial will follow in Brookside cemetery.
