Formerly of Hamilton, Ontario, resident of Bridlewood Manor, Brockville, in her 87th year, died peacefully in her sleep at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, December 7, 2004. Loving mother of Marilee Taylor (Bruce) Brockville, and David Stevens (Margaret) Winnipeg, MB. Grandmother to Neta Taylor-Post (John), Canton, NY, Jeremy Stevens (Linsea), River Hills, MB, Emily Stevens (Greg) Winnipeg, MB, and great-grandmother of John (Jack) Post. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law Thelma Haverty, Vulcan, AB, and Beth Milligan, Oakville, ON. She had a special relationship with her niece Helen Doyle, Balboa Island, CA. Irene was predeceased by her parents Mary and William Haverty as well as siblings, Marie, Edward, Kathleen and Bud, and by a step daughter Heather in 2004.
Irene, R.N., graduated from Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital in 1941, married Harry (Skip) Stevens, February, 1942 (predeceased 1960). In 1974, she married Edward J. (Tod) Wilson (predeceased 1996). She was a founding and Life Time Member of the Macassa Bay Yacht Club. Irene loved life, always smiling and positive, she was a caring and good friend to everyone who knew her.

Loving mother of Mary Morris of Brockville and Eric Morris and his wife Linda of Toronto; and dear grandmother of Christopher Morris. Also survived by her sisters Elva Jobson (James) of Rockport, Janice Leduc of Quebec, Eleanor Beatson (Thomas) of Cardinal, and brothers Douglas "Duke" Guilboard (Kay) of Brockville and Bruce Guilboard; as well as by sisters and brothers-in-law Connie Guilboard of Brockville and Helen Guilboard of Ogdensburg, Bruce Morris (Nancy) of Kirkland Lake, and Mary Mueller (Arnold) of Brockville. Predeceased by a sister Alice Haggart, and brothers George, Ford and Alan Guilboard.

At the Spiritual and Palliative Care Centre of St. Vincent de Paul Hospital July 28th, 2004 Dorothy Evelyn (Murray) Lowe in her 76th year. Dearly beloved of James Norman of 54 years and sons Ross Murray of Erie, PA, Thomas Stephen of Edmonton, and sister-in-law Phyllis Lowe of North York, ON. She was born February 22, 1928 at Haileybury, ON and raised there and Ottawa, ON. Dorothy bravely battled three brain tumors since 1979. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at the Brockville General Hospital, St. Vincent and Dr. Alan Redekopp for their kindness during the past two months.
Cremation will take place at the Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a kind thought.
