Unexpectedly at home on Thursday August 20th, 2009 at the age of 58. Survived by his wife Antonella. Loving father of Alessandro (predeceased), Ariana (Elias), Andrea and Amelia. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Gilda. Dear brother of Adele (Marco Matani), the late Alberto(Ginetta), Maria (the late Daniele Privilegio), Luigi (Anna), Primo (Raffaella), Secondo (Rosaria), Iole (Antonio Dussin) and the late Giovanni (Salvina). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends. Tonino was a 26 year employee of Stelco, Hilton Works. Visitation will be held at the BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 947 Rymal Road East (between Upper Ottawa and Upper Gage) on Sunday August 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayer service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 63 Highway 20 East on Monday August 24 at 10 am. It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Anne at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton with her daughters at her side, on October 19, 2009 in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her husband Bill in 2007. Loving mother of Diane Lake (Paul), Darlene Drake (Ken), Denise Follett (Garry), and Donna Daleo (Gord). Cherished Nanna of Lisa (Kevin), the late Jamie, Derek (Sarrah), Melissa (Jake), Michael, Danielle, Rachelle (Dan), Adrian, James (Krista), Laura (Aaron) and great-nanna of Diane, Jasmine, Kiera, Lexis, Kendra, Ethan. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Louise Austin, Louisa Spearing, Connie Owen, Mary Marcogliese. Will also be remembered by her surviving in-law’s. Predeceased by her parents Stefano and Dominica Evangelisto, and brother’s Tom Mancini (Gloria), and Angelo Evangelisto (Mary). Anne was a longtime employs of Westinghouse. Mom was always the Queen of the kitchen with her fabulous cooking skills. Family and friends will miss her cooking dearly. A good friend to all and will be greatly missed. In recognition for his accomplishments and contributions to the industry, Rick was inducted into the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum, Chattanooga, TN., on September 20, 2008. The Lord gave to us the most precious gift of a son for 29 years. How blessed we have been to share in his life and have unconditional love for each other at all times. His sense of humour and quick wit were amazing and a great source of enjoyment to all who knew him. There are no words to describe how he will be missed by his parents Susan and Michele De Iulio and his sister Lisa and husband Anthony Caruso. His greatest joys were definitely his niece Juliana otherwise known as Munchkin, and nephews Armando, aka the Destroyer, and Nathaniel his little buddy. He wove his way into the lives of many aunts, uncles and cousins and had a special place in his heart for Lexy, his soul sister. He will be sadly missed by many co-workers at HHS, McMaster site, who graciously provided Paul and his parents with a trip to Italy for a last visit with his Nonna and family which resulted in many happy memories and photos to cherish forever. How do we say goodbye? There are no words, except, “We love you deeply and forever. Suddenly on Monday October 27, 2008 while conducting family business in Spain, Belinda Murray at the age of 48 years. Beloved daughter of Austin and Herta Murray. Dearest sister of Curtis (Mary) Murray of Hamilton. She will be sadly missed by her uncles Rudy (Margo) Denninger of Burlington, Hermann Denninger of Burlington, Gabriele (Mrs. Rainer Frank), of Caledonia. Also will be missed by her cousins, Rana, Richard, Claudia , Martin, Robert, Christopher, Eric, Patrick and their respective spouses and families. Belinda was the Vice-President of Merchandising for Denningers where she has worked her entire life. Belinda will be greatly missed by the staff and customers at Denninger’s Foods of the World and the Food Industry World Wide. She supported many community organizations with special love of Hamilton Opera, Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, Royal Botanical Gardens, Downtown BIA, and was a member of the Executive of the Hamilton Red Cross. There will be no visitations, everyone is welcome to attend the Funeral Mass celebrated at the Cathedral of Christ the King, 714 King Street West, Hamilton on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 10 a.m. Belinda will then be entombed at a private family only service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. We are saddened to tell you of the passing of Shirley, in the early morning hours of May 18, 2010. Her husband and life long partner Frank and their son Mark were with her as she passed peacefully to her next journey. Born and raised in Hamilton, ON to Chester and Lillian Powell, Shirley leaves her sisters Hazel Snyder and Elaine Martin and her brother-in-law Victor Martin. Shirley is Julie’s mother-in-law and the greatest grandmother to Evan and Nicholas DePaul. Shirley leaves behind her brother and sister-in-laws Ray and Aileen DePaul. William Snyder and Anna and Robert Burke also predecease her. She also leaves countless nieces and nephews and their families. Following her marriage to Frank, they settled in Burlington where she spent her time raising her family and managing a career at the Royal Botanical Gardens that spanned 25 years. Her passions in life included reading and some traveling but most important were her family. This passion grew immensely with the arrival of her grandsons Evan and Nicholas. Out of respect for Shirley’s wishes and in keeping with her private persona throughout her life, a simple celebration will be offered for our family on May 26, 2010 at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1010 Botanical Drive, BURLINGTON.
