It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of our beloved Antonio Giuseppe Santaguida in his 88th year on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Henderson General Hospital. Son of the late Giuseppe and Teresa and son-in-law of the late Giuseppe and Maria Rosa Tirinato. Survived by Marianna, his loving and devoted wife of 68 years. Will be greatly missed by his children Joe and Franca, Teresa and Ubaldo Gennarini, Marie and the late Italo Borraccetti, Rose and the late Dave Hart, Tony and Susan, Frank, Susie and Marco Oddi. Predeceased by three infant children. Adored Nonno of Marianna and Cesare Maniccia, Anthony and Josie Santaguida, Diana and Sandro Codognotto, Linda and Rob DeIuliis, Christina and Eric Bernar, Anthony Michael and fiancée Lisa Celeste, Marie Anne, Vincent, Robert and Joseph Santaguida, Alessandra Gennarini, Rachel, Michael and Paul Hart, and Angelo, Lianna and Jessica Oddi. ‘Big Nonno’ leaves behind nine great-grandchildren who will miss his treats. Will be sadly missed by brothers and sisters, their spouses and families: Bruno and the late Nina Manella of Jasper, Alberta, the late Maria and Gabriel Farriol of Argentina, Concetta and the late Toto of Montreal, Rosina Riggitano, Teresa and Pietro Ranieri, Mario and Dora, Aurora and Antonio Nocita, and Rocco and Aurora. Will also be missed by sister-in-law Concetta Giorla and her late husband Pietro and families in Satriano, Italy. Antonio lived a full and healthy life. He retired from Santaguida & Sons General Contractors, which he founded in 1964, after many years of hard work and sacrifices in order to raise his family and provide them with a better life. He remained active by driving to the stores for bargains and Shopper’s for Pro-Line. He will be remembered for his charm, sense of humour and always saying “I lost for one point”. The family would like to thank the two “Good Samaritans” who administered CPR and assisted in our time of need.

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our adoring wife and mother, on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 in her 74th year, after a valiant and lengthy battle with Lymphoma. Devoted wife of Pierangelo (Angelo), adoring mother of Mauro (Gail), Luca (Tracy), Paul (Sarah), and Laura (Brad), and dear Nonna of Chad, Melissa, Brandon, Devan, Jesse, Layla, Gabriel, Rachel, Becky and Tommy. Anna will be sadly missed by her beloved mother in Italy as well as her five brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. We will always remember the unbelievable strength which Anna displayed in order to achieve her goal of making the trip to Italy to celebrate her mother’s 100th birthday last month. We will all fondly remember her tenacious spirit, faith and sense of humour which she never failed to carry with her throughout her brave battle. It is with much sadness that the family of Giuseppe Sarullo announce his passing on Monday July 14, 2008. He was such a strong, happy and respected man that we are heartbroken to have lost. He touched the hearts of everyone he met and always greeting them with his much loved smile. He is survived by wife Anna Sarullo who was the love of his life for 53 wonderful years. They were blessed with three wonderful children; daughters, Josie Crimeli (Gino), Nancy LoSchiavo (Mike) and son Ross Sarullo. Such a proud nonno of Daniel Crimeli (Sabrina), Paul Crimeli, Kristen LoSchiavo and Alexander Sarullo. He will also be missed by his brother Pietro Sarullo of Italy, and sister's Maria Giglione, Rosa Campanella and Giovanna Giglione, along with all of their children to whom he had the joy of being a devoted uncle. Giuseppe is now in peace with his parents Giuseppina & Rosario Sarullo and sister Assuntina. Schultz, Gordon Delmar 1926-2009
Peacefully, Gordon left us to be with his Lord, after courageously combating cancer. His Spirit was never defeated. Gordon was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his wife Irene. They celebrated their 60th anniversary in Sept of 2008. He will be missed by his son’s Cal (Marci) and Mark, his daughter Cathie ( David) his grandchildren Jonathan, Olivia, Jesse, Jack, Adam (Eva) Kyle and Brittany. Gord leaves his sister Joyce (Ken) and Tom (Janet). He is predeceased by Melvin (Annalyse), Roy (Evaline), Stanley (Ivy), and Evelyn (Roy). Gord was a much loved Uncle to many nieces and nephews. There are many others who were dear to him who affectionately considered him a Father/Uncle/Papa to them. He is cherished by so many, Gord loved to laugh and share a joke-make your day just that much brighter. There was always a light in his eyes and a playful mirth waiting to engage someone. He loved the poetic and the beauty of the north. He owned Saunders and Schultz Insurance Ltd and was active in insurance until 1998. He was a Real Estate Broker right up until he passed away. Gord and Irene were faithful members of Peoples Church Hamilton. Throughout his life he was best friends with his brother Stan. He lived his life as a good Samaritan. He made the world a little better place for a lot of people.
