MCNALLY, J. Bernard - Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday, February 4, 2008, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Pierrette (nee Berthelot) of 42 years. Dear father of Joanne Cobey, Paul McNally (Marilyn), Danielle Harper (Jerry), John McNally and Kathy Raison (Paul). Sadly missed by grandchildren Stephanie Bowen, Steven McNally, Michael, David, Gordon and Kelly Cobey, Erica and Christopher McNally, Danielle Vernon, Michael Harper, Pamela, Matthew and Melissa Raison. Also survived by six grandchildren. Predeceased by sons Steve McNally on February 4, 2008 and Jimmy McNally and by a son-in-law Dennis Cobey. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated in St. Francis Xavier Church on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Church on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier cemetery. MCNALLY, Steve - Entered into rest at Edmonton, AB on Monday, February 4, 2008, in his 58th year. Son of the late J. Bernard who predeceased him the same day and Pierrette McNally. Dear father of Stephanie Bowen (Jason) and Steven McNally. Dear grandfather of Ada Bowen. Dear brother of Joanne Cobey, Paul McNally (Marilyn), Danielle Harper (Jerry), John McNally and Kathy Raison (Paul). Predeceased by a brother Jimmy McNally and by a brother-in- law Dennis Cobey. Cremation will take place in Edmonton. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.

Ruth Jane (nee Struthers) Lackie

LACKIE, Ruth Jane (nee Struthers) - It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Ruth, at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday, February 3rd, 2008 at the age of 73 years. Beloved wife of George. Devoted mother to her sons and their families. Gregory and Barb and their daughters Dana, Julie and Chelsea. Stephen and Carol and their daughters Courtney and Mallory. Christopher and Danielle. She will also be remembered by her surviving siblings. Garnet, Harry, Eccles, Vera and Beth. Memorial Celebration will be held at Lansdowne United Church on Saturday February 9th, 2008 at 2 p.m. Followed by a gathering of family and friends at the Lansdowne Community Building. Memorial Donations can be made to the Brockville and District Hospice Palliative Care Service.

Muriel Primrose (nee Brownlee) Blake

BLAKE, Muriel Primrose (nee Brownlee) - Widow of Frederick J. Blake. Peacefully in her sleep with family nearby on February 6, 2008, in her 88th year. She is survived by her children Patricia, Keith (Carol) and Richard (Melanie), sister Mrs.Tressa Stevenson (George) and nephew Raymond Wright (Joan). She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren Kelli, Elissa, Adrian, Andrea, and Audrey and her good friend Doris Surgenor. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston 613- 544-3411). Friends will be received on Friday, February 8, 2008 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Helen Henderson Care Centre, Amherstview, Residents Charitable Foundation, would be greatly appreciated by the family (Donations by cheque only please).

Dear brother of Doreen Bailey (Walter), and Cathy Ferguson (Brian). Also survived by a close friend Ruth Kovacs. Predeceased by a daughter Betty Lou Gauvreau, and his parents Verna and Maurice Gauvreau. Lovingly remembered by Joan, his beloved wife of 54 years, his loving children Adrian (Janet) and Nicole (Henry) and by grandsons Casimere and Tristan. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the Bayshore Ladies for their kind and compassionate care, Denise and the Day Away Staff and drivers Richard and Warren. Dear brother of Wilfred (Jacqueline) of Cornwall. Predeceased by his sisters Gertrude Murray, Lenore Cavanagh and Eleanor Mitten, and brothers Gerald, Frank, Joe and Gus. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. At Louis's request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark Catholic Church on Friday, February 8th, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment in the spring at St. Mark Catholic cemetery. Wanda who moved to Stirling from Gananoque in the past year was the daughter of Jack and Muriel Allan. Beloved wife of the late James Dickson. Loving mother of Terry Burke (Andy) of Stirling, and Stephen (Kelly) of Windsor. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Melissa) Burke, Noelle Burke, Benjamin, Joshua and Angela Dickson. Great grandmother of Jericho. Dear sister of Jean Kyes and Lois Wheeler. Predeceased by 1 brother Bob Allan. The family will receive friends at the TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Friday from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Saturday February 9 at 2:00 pm. Interment Gananoque cemetery. Survived by sister in laws Faye Lucas, Jack Wight, Anne McNulty, Dorothy Maynard, Debbie Adrain and Karen Woodman and by brother in laws John, Chris and Kelly Sanders. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from our chapel on Saturday February 9 at 10:30 am. Sarah (Sally) Ann (Holgate) Tittel

TITTEL, Sarah (Sally) Ann (Holgate) - passed away peacefully Sunday February 3rd, 2008, with her family by her side, at the Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville, in her 96th year. Formerly of Cornwall and Valleyfield, Quebec, she was the loving wife of the late Max Tittel. Loving mother of Donna Wilson (Gib) of Prescott, proud Grandmother of James Scott of New York City, and Kelly Anne of Brockville, and Great Grandmother of Olivia and Maya of Brockville. She is also survived by her sisters Harriet (Patti) Dawson (late Clarence) of Gatineau, Quebec, and Lily Lalande of Montreal, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Harriet Holgate, and her brother Samuel Holgate. As per Sally's wishes, a private family funeral was held Wednesday February 6th, 2008 in the chapel of MCARTHUR BROS. & MACNEIL FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 428 Second Street East, Cornwall, 613-932- 6300. Interment St. Columban's cemetery. For those who wish, donations to Sherwood Park Manor or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

DAWSON, Dorothy Ina - Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday, 7 February 2008. Dorothy Dawson (nee Perryman) of Brockville age 81 years. Sister to Marjorie Johnson, aunt of Doug and wife Phyllis Johnson, Sharron Johnson, Lisa and Julie Perryman and Lee and wife Tracy Perryman. Great- aunt of Greg Johnson and Bryden and Daniel Perryman. Pre-deceased by brother Ron and wife May Perryman and parents George and Edith Perryman. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, 12 February 2008 at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 137 Pearl street east, Brockville at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Cancer Society or Sherwood Park Manor Nursing Home would be appreciated.

John W. Hickey

HICKEY, John W. - Has passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, New Brunswick on Friday, February 1st, 2008. Mr. Hickey was born in Peterbourgh, Ont. He was 68 years old. He moved to Brockville, Ont. and worked for JR Business Associates and JR Solutions for 32 years. He is survived by his long-time friend Lorraine Ault. One daughter Karina (Kyle) and grandson Keegan. One sister Nanci (Arthur) Phelan, Elmira, Ont., one brother Kevin (Lynn) Pammett, Groton, Mass. and one nephew and four nieces. He was predeceased by his mother Jean Pammett and father James Hickey and one sister Gaye. Interment will take place at Lakehurst cemetery , near Pidgeon Lake, Ont. in the spring.

Bud Bycroft

BYCROFT, Bud - In loving memory of Mr. Bud Bycroft of Charlton who passed away at the Englehart & District Hospital, on Saturday, February 09, 2008 at the age of 65. Born in Brockville, Bud always considered the north his home. He loved 4 wheelin', especially with his wife and his old black dog Mack. Bud also had a great passion for fishing and raising Belgian horses. Pre-deceased by his parents George & Maggie, and his stepson Corey. He is survived by his wife Lorrie, step- daughters Catherine & Lorrie Vinkle, 3 sons Mike & Vashti McDaniel, Todd, Michael & daughter Michelle & Andy Boss. He will be sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren, sisters Barbara & Keith Ackerman, Phillis & Bob Beale, brother Richard & Salli Bycroft, in- laws Howie & Lucy McLean and his brother- in-law Jim & Wendy McLean. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service of the late Mr. Bud Bycroft. Loving grandmother of six grandchildren, also survived by a sister Beryl Hudson of Brockville several nieces and nephews. pre- deceased by her parents John Mabry Hick and his wife Imeld Carrier. Friends called at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service was held in the chapel on Monday February 11 at 2 p.m. Interment will followed at Manhard cemetery. BYCROFT, George Arthur (Bud) Entered into rest at the Engelhart Hospital in Engelhart, Ontario on Saturday, February 9th, 2008. Born in Brockville on October 21, 1942 to the late George and Margaret Bycroft of Lyn. Dear father of Todd Bycroft, Michael Bycroft, Michelle Bos (Andy) all of Brockville. Survived by five grandchildren, Tyson, Alysha, Camryn, Noah and Spencer. He will be missed by his sisters Barbara Ackerman (Keith) Phyllis Beale (Bob) and brother Richard Bycroft (Sally). There will be a celebration of Bud's life in Brockville at a later date.

Eric Jamieson Haycock

HAYCOCK, Eric Jamieson - Suddenly on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at age 20. Beloved son of Rick (Pauline) and Donna (James Presley). Loving brother of Scott and step-brother of Eric and Andrew Paterson, Dean Presley and Amanda Presley. Grandson of Lila Leonard (the late Bert) and the late Lloyd and Bunnie Haycock. Also survived by step- grandparents Paul and Rita Tremblay and Bill and Sandra Presley. Eric will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles (the late Larry Leonard) and cousins from the Leonard, Haycock, Tremblay and Presley families, as well as, by his many friends, attendants (“his girls”), the No Surrenders and his pets Booklyn, Vegas and Cali. He graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in June of 2007 and was attending Algonquin College. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of HULSE, PLAYFAIR & MCGARRY, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond Road), Ottawa on Tuesday from 4-7 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church Fallowfield, 15 Steeple Hill Crescent, Nepean on Thursday, February 14 at 2pm. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Ottawa Chapter, 150 Isabella Street, Ottawa, ON, K1S 1V7 would be appreciated.

Hannah Walker beloved daughter of Shelley Saunders and Robert Walker, sister of Matthew and Daniel, Grandaughter of Dan and Barb Saunders, Ron Walker and Verna and Neil Van Lanen, niece of Danielle (Jeff) Ling, Jason (Lucy) Saunders, Kate and Connie Walker, Jason and Jessica Van Lanen. Great Grandaughter of Elmer Saunders. survived by Emma and Zoe, her beloved cats. O'BRIEN, Hilda Mae (nee Martin) - A longtime resident of the Kingston area, died peacefully with the love of her family on Monday, February 18, 2008 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Agustine O'Brien. Dear sister of Earl (deceased) and Lottie Martin, Ernest and Eleanor Martin, Doreen Hopkinson (deceased) and Doug Martin (deceased). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and the O'Brien family. Family and friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd.) on Friday from 12:30 pm until the service time.
