Dear uncle of Linda Puro (Martin) of Lively, Eilene Paterson of Winnipeg and the late John Heino. Predeceased by his brother Frank and sisters Elsie Biggans, Saima Maki and Jeanne Frank. A veteran of World War II, he served in Canada, Holland, England and Italy. He was born in Wanup and worked at Falconbridge until he went into the army. Later he and his wife operated a dairy farm and they had the Wanup post office. He then worked at Inco Agriculture until he retired. He liked to go fishing, hunting and skidooing in his younger days. Proud grandfather of Peter, Robert, Michelle and Meaghan Mousseau, Colleen and Patrick Robb, Micheal, Mark and Marie Mousseau, Jessica Woodrow and Benjamin and Andrew Mousseau. Dear brother of Margaret (Frank) Hearty, Helen McKee, Theresa (Ed) Kevin, Marie Potvin. Much loved brother-in-law of Grace Mousseau, Tom Fitzgerald and Pat Keaney. Peter is predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Veronica (Donnelly) Mousseau, brothers, Earl, Harry, Bartley, and Stanley, sister Rose Richer, sisters-in-law, Margaret Mousseau, Theresa Mousseau, Elsa Mousseau, and Doreen Fitzgerald, brothers- in-law, Gordon McKee, Bob Potvin, John Richer, and Maurice Keaney. Peter was a former member of Sacred Heart Parish Council and the Optimist Club of Sarnia and was currently a Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart Church. Peter started his teaching career, and moved into Guidance, at Sudbury High School, Sudbury, Ont. In 1969, Peter and Shirley moved their family to Sarnia and Peter took the position of Vice-Principal and teacher at Northern Collegiate. Peter retired in 1989 and dedicated his retirement years to his beloved family. Peter thoroughly enjoyed life. He was an avid walker, eternal optimist, and lover of life. Peter was always ready with a good joke and could see humour in life's experiences. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
