Victor Joseph Faucher

FAUCHER, Victor Joseph - In loving memory of Victor Joseph Faucher, 62 years, who passed away Tuesday, February 5th, 2008 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of Sandra (Pare) Faucher of Copper Cliff. Loving father of Kim (husband Chris Harrott) of Sudbury. Dearest brother-in-law of Laura (husband Mark Reid) of Coniston, Jackie (husband Richard Kruse) of Thunder Bay and Carole Taillefer of Timmins. Sadly missed by his canine pals Lucy Lou and Buster Brown. Dear friend of Fred and Dana. Born in Oshawa, Victor worked as a miner at Falconbridge Nickel Mine for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He was active in Mine Mill Union, serving as a stewart and on the Health and Safety Committee. The family wish to extend their sincere thanks for the wonderful care and compassion shown in the oncology and Palliative Units by, Chad, Laurie, Lise, Melanie, Ranelle, Sylvie, Tracey, Danielle, Manuela, Suzanne, Alison and Doctors Merotto, Tenhunen, Golich, Roch, Vargesse, Mailloux, Zucconi and staff, as well as Pharmacist Herman. Memorial gathering at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Saturday, February 9th, 2008 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Cremation in the Park Lawn Crematorium. Edwin Heino

HEINO, Edwin - In loving memory of Edwin Heino, 85 years, who passed away February 6th, 2008. Beloved husband of 58 years of Aili (Valiako). Loving father of Bob Heino (Louise) and Frank Heino of Sudbury and Sandra of Lively, Alan Heino (Pierrette) of Timmins. Dear grandfather of Bruce Heino of Aylmer Quebec and Laura Heino of Montreal. Dear uncle of Linda Puro (Martin) of Lively, Eilene Paterson of Winnipeg and the late John Heino. Predeceased by his brother Frank and sisters Elsie Biggans, Saima Maki and Jeanne Frank. A veteran of World War II, he served in Canada, Holland, England and Italy. He was born in Wanup and worked at Falconbridge until he went into the army. Later he and his wife operated a dairy farm and they had the Wanup post office. He then worked at Inco Agriculture until he retired. He liked to go fishing, hunting and skidooing in his younger days. In later years he would enjoy meeting his friends for coffee. Private Family Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Friday, February 8th, 2008. Interment in the Park Lawn cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Centre would be appreciated. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Friday under the auspices of the War Pensioners of Canada. Peter John Mousseau

MOUSSEAU, Peter John - At LHSC, Victoria Campus, on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, Peter died peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Shirley for 53 years. Loving father of Patricia (Glenn) Broome, Peter (Patsy) Mousseau, Susan (Brad) Robb, Mark (Carrie) Mousseau, Barbara (Doug) Woodrow and Thomas (Becky) Mousseau. Proud grandfather of Peter, Robert, Michelle and Meaghan Mousseau, Colleen and Patrick Robb, Micheal, Mark and Marie Mousseau, Jessica Woodrow and Benjamin and Andrew Mousseau. Dear brother of Margaret (Frank) Hearty, Helen McKee, Theresa (Ed) Kevin, Marie Potvin. Much loved brother-in-law of Grace Mousseau, Tom Fitzgerald and Pat Keaney. Dear Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Peter is predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Veronica (Donnelly) Mousseau, brothers, Earl, Harry, Bartley, and Stanley, sister Rose Richer, sisters-in-law, Margaret Mousseau, Theresa Mousseau, Elsa Mousseau, and Doreen Fitzgerald, brothers- in-law, Gordon McKee, Bob Potvin, John Richer, and Maurice Keaney. Peter was a former member of Sacred Heart Parish Council and the Optimist Club of Sarnia and was currently a Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart Church. Peter started his teaching career, and moved into Guidance, at Sudbury High School, Sudbury, Ont. In 1969, Peter and Shirley moved their family to Sarnia and Peter took the position of Vice-Principal and teacher at Northern Collegiate. Peter retired in 1989 and dedicated his retirement years to his beloved family. Peter thoroughly enjoyed life. He was an avid walker, eternal optimist, and lover of life. Peter was always ready with a good joke and could see humour in life's experiences. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Friday, February 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, February 9th at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date at Our Lady of Mercy cemetery. Cherished grandmother of Michel, Stéphane, Mélanie, Sylvie, Andy, Jennifer, Edgar, Joel, Stéphane, Sylvain and great grandmother of 9. Dear sister of Gilles, Jean Charles, Marcel, Robert, Albert, Richard, Guy, Gérard, Ghislaine, Lise, Reina and Evelyne. Predeceased by her children André, Rachelle, John and Marguerite. Cherished grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Albert (wife Alice), Wilfrid (wife Joy), Arthur and William (wife Yvette) all of Wahnapitae. Predeceased by her parents Alma (nee Quenneville) and Elzear Savard, her brothers Midas, Joseph, Leo and her sister Alma Tremblay. Florence worked at Bingo 1 and also enjoyed playing Bingo very much. ADAMS, Jean I. - passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie, on Thursday February 7th, 2008. Jean Adams, of Minesing in her 75th year, loved wife of the late Glen Adams. Cherished mother of Debbie (John) Ferguson, Dan (Kim) Adams, Pam Archer (Brian Gillespie) and Peter Adams. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Brooke, Graham, John, Rebecca, Morgan, Daniel and Kody. Proud great grandmother of Dustin. Also survived by her sisters Joan Webb and Carol (Ernie) Miller. Predeceased by her parents George and Helen Mulholland and sister Beth Mulholland. Jean will be missed by her in- laws, nieces, nephews and her wonderful circle of friends. ROCK, Susan “Suzi“ - After a brief illness, on Saturday, February 2, 2008, at home with her family. Suzi, beloved wife and best friend of Rocky. Loving mother of Kieran, Hannah, Rachel and Molly. Suzi is survived by her parents John and Florence Murphy and her brother Stephen of South Wales. Russell Oulcott Stibbard

STIBBARD, Russell Oulcott - Peacefully, at home, according to his wishes, Russell entered into a well-deserved rest on Wednesday February 6th, 2008, at the age of 90. Devoted husband to Joyce Stibbard (nee Harran). A man of integrity, intelligence, humour and creativity, his spirit rises again in his children: Sharon, Linda, Kim, Robin (Boots Richardson), his grandchildren: Chris and Yolie, Peter and Laurie, and Heather, and his great- grandchildren: Melanie and Sarah. Dear uncle to Barry Stibbard and Gail Davies. Dad leaves us to be reunited with his son, Dennis. Russ was with the Toronto Irish Regiment in WWII. Following his career in the China Dept. at Eaton's, he and Joyce were proud partners in the Nine Nooks China Shop. Fondly remembered by friends and neighbours in Toronto and Innisfil. Visitation will be held on Saturday February 9th, from 4-7 p.m. and Sunday February 10th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. KANE FUNERAL HOME (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Kerry Elaine (nee Greer) Van Bolderen

Van BOLDEREN, Kerry Elaine (nee Greer) (Aug. 16, 1950 - Feb. 3, 2008) - Kerry is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Tricia and Deborah, son Greg; her parents Harold and Mary Greer; sisters Linda and Patricia (Mound); and her mother- in-law, Liz Van Swaay. She is predeceased by her son Graham. Friends are invited to celebrate Kerry's life with her family at an informal gathering on Saturday, Feb. 9th, 2008, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Barrie's Southshore Community Centre at 205 Lakeshore Drive (L4N 7Y9). Presentations by some of Kerry's family and friends will be made starting at 2:00pm.
