Peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2003 in Ottawa, in her 95th year. Formerly of Montreal, she was predeceased by her beloved first husband, Lt. Col. Stuart Cantlie and her second husband Lt. Col. Charles Petch. Survived by her sons, Colonel James Cantlie (Ret'd)(Lorraine) of Ottawa, and Colin Cantlie (Marilyn) of Calgary, by her grandchildren Charles Cantlie of Jasper, Cynthia Cantlie (Dan Stephanson) of Ottawa, Susan Kempton (Howard) of Toronto, Craig Cantlie of Vancouver and Stephanie Cantlie of Calgary and by her great-grandchildren Julianna and Ethan Stephanson (Ottawa). Also survived by step-daughter Joan Camp (Ed) of Newport, Vermont. Predeceased by sisters Alice Errington and Betty Amory. At her request there will be no visitation with private funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
