Linttell, Olive Grace
Linttell – Olive Grace (nee Graham) Peacefully at Salvation Army Grace Manor on Monday, November 17, 2003 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Stuart in 1987. Cherished mother of Elaine Spratt (the late Donald), of Kanata, Margaret Robertson (Bob) of Woodbridge, Janet Houlahan (Jack) of Kanata, Graham (Krystine) of Toronto and Jeffrey of Cassburn. Granny will be fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Heartfelt thanks for the loving care given to Olive during her stay on the 3rd floor Rosemount wing. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Baseline Rd. and Bayshore Dr.) Nepean on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12 noon. Interment Cassburn cemetery , L’Orginal, Ontario at 2 p.m., followed by reception at Cassburn United Church Hall. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army Grace Manor, 1156 Wellington St. K1Y 2Z3 would be appreciated.

Coert, Caroline Rynep
Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband George Guido. Cherished mother of Marycke (Gerry), Hans (Gisele), Marilyn and Deborah (Greg). Loved grandmother of Greg, Caroline, Jason, Vanessa, Meredith and Zachary. Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and 4 sisters. Friends may attend a memorial service at Woodroffe United Church, 207 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Association would be appreciated.

LANGELIER – GILLES Suddenly on Sunday, November 16, 2003, aged 56 years. Dear son the Lucien Langelier and the late Marcelle Langelier (Guilmette). Loving brother of Paul, Denise, Gisele, Jeannine and Lucie. Also survived by nieces and nephews. No visiting by request. Funeral mass will be held at St. François d’Assise Roman Catholic Church, (Fairmont at Wellington Street), Ottawa, on Thursday, November 20, 2003, at 11 a.m.. Interment Notre Dame cemetery , Ottawa. Lloyd, Patricia Ann
1942 - 2008
passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2008 following a brief illness, under the gentle care of the staff at the Hospice at May Court. Beloved daughter of the late Llew and Margaret Lloyd. Loving sister of Gwen Spencer (Jim) of London, ON and David (Bonnie) of Carleton Place. She will be greatly missed by her nephews Jamie Spencer (Debbie Uniac), Stephen Spencer (Allison), Jeffrey (Melissa), Steven Lloyd (Tammy) and her niece Maggie Lloyd. Some of her greatest joys were her grand nephews Zachary, Nolan and Liam Spencer and to her great sadness, she will miss meeting her grand niece Spencer to be born in September 2008 and baby Lloyd to be born in January 2009. She will also be greatly missed by her loving aunts, Sheila and Anne both of England, Lillian of Carleton Place, Joan of St. Catherines, childhood friend Pat Plummer and other dear friends too numerous to mention. Pat was a lifetime employee of the former Canadian Transport Commission and National Transportation Agency where she met and leaves behind many special friends. In keeping with Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will be followed by a “Celebration of Pat’s Life”, date and location to be determined. There will be a private family interment service at St. James Anglican cemetery , Carleton Place. Memorial donations may be made to the Scleroderma Society of Ontario 136 Kenilworth Avenue North, Hamilton, Ontario L8H 4R8 or the Hospice at May Court 114 Cameron Ave. Ottawa, K1S 0X1.

Elliott, Audrey
Peacefully at the Hospice at May Court, with her family by her side, on Friday September 5, 2008, Audrey Elliott, in her 72nd year. Beloved sister of Marjorie Irish (Dave), Gouveneur NY; Lois Cole (late Bill Sr.), Seattle WA; and Beverly Teghtsoonian (Ed), Vancouver BC, . Predeceased by sister Joyce and brother-in-law Jerome Wells. Devoted aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt on, Tuesday September 9, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment at Riverside cemetery , Gouverneur, NY at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation or the Hospice at May Court would be appreciated.

Peacefully, on Saturday September 6, 2008, at Starwood Nursing Home. Survived by sister Ann Halfyard and nephew Daniel Townsend, and nieces Maureen McGibbon and Kimberly Halfyard. Predeceased by sisters Georgia Gallagher and Emily Baris. At Lillian’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Inurnment Mount Royal cemetery , Montreal.

Robertson, May Louise (nee McBride)
passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, after a long and happy life. Beloved wife of Tom for 63 years. Devoted mother of Ann, Shirley Farquhar (John), Barry (Christine), and Nancy (Tim Stewart). Cherished grandmother of Chris (Sonia), Joel (Monica), and Melanie Farquhar and Jeffrey Robertson and great grandmother of Matthew, Chloe and Jacob. Loving sister of Vic McBride. Will be greatly missed by sisters and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends, members of ONAC, fellow volunteers at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, and members of Bells Corners United Church. May served in the WAAF during WWII. She lived in Deep River from 1946-1976, where she was a founding member of the Deep River Players. After moving to Ottawa in 1976, she continued to be an active member of the community and made many new and lasting friendships. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean, on Wednesday September 10, 2008 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Bells Corners United Church on Thursday at 1 p.m. Heartfelt gratitude to the nursing and medical staff of the Emergency Department and I.C.U of the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their exceptional and compassionate care. Cheesman, Beverley
Peacefully at the Renfrew Hospice, surrounded with family, Beverley Nora Cheesman passed away on September 8th leaving behind her loving and devoted husband Rand. Dear mother of James (Susan) Fauteux and John (Jenny) Fauteux and grandmother to Connor and Hannah. Loving step-mom to Jessica Cheesman (Gene Yee). Proud grandmother of Simon, Thomas and Noah Cheesman. Bev enjoyed life to the fullest and shared many happy times with her good friends and family. A Celebration of Bev’s life will be held at St. Paul’s United church in Carp on Saturday September 13th at 1:30p.m. A reception will follow in the church hall.

Predeceased by brother Stuart, sisters, Betty Elliott, Barb Bowers and his daughter-in-law Linda Racey. Beloved husband of Dorothy and the late Evelyn Hopewell. Loving father of Glenn, Barry (Marika) and the late Brian. Proud grandfather of Callan and Jacob. Dear brother of Elson Jessiman and Lilias Lancaster. Predeceased by his sister Heather and brothers Ken, Bill, Alex and Mick. Cecil is also survived by his extended family, Patricia (Ron Turcotte), Blanche (Christopher Dunn), and Rowland (Jill) and grandchildren Christine, Sheila, Teresa, Paul and Jonathan, great-grandchildren Jordan, Josh, Talia and Emma, as well as by his nieces, nephews and their families. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital C4 for all their kindness and care.
