Galway, Georgina A.
December 16, 1944 - August 4, 2007
On a sunny afternoon, one chapter ended and another chapter began for our Georgia-Mae: daughter, wife, mother, and compassionate friend and advisor. As with all good stories, some endings, like this one, are unexpected. In her passing, she is remembered fondly as loving wife, partner and companion of Douglas; inspiration and cheerleader of Devon (Lorna, Marc, and Nick), Graham, Caitlyn and Emma; childhood beachcombing partner of Debbie, and cherished daughter and niece of her loving family. “Ye blessed creatures, I have heard the call Ye to each other make; I see The heavens laugh with you in your jubilee; My heart is at your festival, My head hath its coronal- The fullness of your bliss, I feel, I feel it all.” Warm thoughts and prayers would be especially appreciated on the afternoon of Saturday, August 11 as a small, family ceremony is taking place. With your love for us, Georgia-Mae, and in your honour, we will continue to write our own stories. For all that you have done, and all that you have left in our hearts and memories, we give thanks.
