After a short illness, Elizabeth (nee Hern), in her 84th year, on Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa. Beloved wife of the late John Murray Linklater. Dear mother of Barbara Brown of Kingston and David and his wife Joanne Linklater of Oshawa. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Bob and Doug Linklater, Christopher, David, Evan, Michael and Gillian Brown and great-grandmother of Nicholas Brown. Sister of Pat Brunet of Montreal. Cremation. A memorial service will be held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 632 Thornton Rd. N. (at Rossland Rd. W.) Oshawa, on Saturday, June 23, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations made in memory of Elizabeth to a Charity of ones choice would be appreciated. MALONE, Thomas Hugh -
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in his 81st year, with his family at his side. Tom, loving husband of Mary Bridget (nee Marten) of Newcastle. Dear father of Stephen and his wife Cecilia of Los Angeles, Marie and her husband Gino Marano of Bowmanville, Alex and his wife Heather of Maui, and Tom and his wife Barb of Newtonville. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Alexandra, Thomas and Victoria Marano; MaIlorie and Thomas Malone. Dear brother of Katie, Molly, and the late Patrick, James, Stephen and John. Visitation at the Newcastle Funeral Home, 386 Mill St. South from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 21. Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 214 King St. E., Newcastle, on Saturday, June 23 at 11 am. Cremation. Donations in Tom’s memory to the St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund would be greatly appreciated by his family.

Loving grandmother of Laura, Susan, Alex, Sarah, Jeremy, Amie, Emma, and great-grandmother of Wes, Dylan, Spencer, Noah, and Carly. Fondly remembered by her friend Max Lambert. The family will receive friends at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby from 12 to 1 p.m. Friday. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, June 22, 2001 at 1 p.m. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

At the Scarborough General Hospital, on Tuesday, June 19, 2001, Walter O. Warner, in his 71st year. Loving father of Kurt and grandfather of DeShae. Brother of Roma and her husband Oslen Hill, Lucien and his wife Bernadette James, and Genevieve and her husband Emil Lewis. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2001. Funeral Service in the Chapel to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment - St. John's cemetery , Antiqua, West Indies. Loving wife of Reginald Beavan, mother of Douglas, Shirley, Janice, Larry, Leslie, Dale, and grandmother of 12, passed away at Scarborough Centenary Health Centre, on Monday, June 18, 2001. At Irene's request there will be no formal funeral service. However, a gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the reception room at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax. Dear sister of Ephenia (Fifi) Wilson of Southhampton, England; Niko Nikolar of Istanbul, Turkey; Aleko Nikolar of Waldorf-Hessen, Germany; Luka Nikolar of Athens, Greece; Esmerelda (Smaro) Mallis of Thessalonica, Greece. Visitation at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville 7-9 pm Wednesday. Funeral service 11 am Thursday at College Park Seventh Day Adventist Church, Oshawa. Internment in Windsor, ON. Memorial donations may be made to the Kingsway Worthy Student Fund.

Loving step-father of Darlene Doner and Randal of London, David Povinsky and Marcey of Oshawa and the late Dane Povinsky (1986). Dear brother of Mildred Voisin, Shirley Gonder and Morley, Mary Wellum and Bruce, Winnifred Ebel and Russel, Edgar and Edith, Francis and Florence, Howard and Helen, Jerome, Nelson and Jean, Joseph and Sheila and brother-in-law of Maurine. Grandfather of Rachel, Miranda, and Luke Doner and Jeremy and Sara Povinsky. Also survived by 57 nieces and nephews. Pre­deceased by brothers Harvey and Wilfred and by sisters Margaret, Regina and Edith. Visitation will be held in the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North (2 blocks north of Oxford Street), London on Tuesday, June 19th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday June 20th, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. Interment , Thornton cemetery , Oshawa on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Lung Association.

BEAUCHAMP, Susan Lynn (nee Reid) -
On Sunday, June 17, 2001, after a courageous battle with Dermatonyositis and Inclusion Body Myositis at age 54, we sadly announce the death of Susan. She will be deeply missed by her husband Lou Beauchamp, two children David Beauchamp, Denise Beauchamp and her husband Dave Lawes, granddaughter Tricia Redford, her faithful companion her dog Rusty and her many friends. Susan worked for McLeans of Ajax for 36 years and during the same time worked for and later owned Russell Hampton of Canada. The employees of McLeans and Russell Hampton of Canada and the U.S. also share in the family's grief. Daughter of the late Barbara and Sam Reid. They await your arrival, Sue. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with visitation on Tuesday, June 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Complete funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at 1 p.m. All flowers loved and cheerfully accepted or donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Canada.

Peacefully, after a short illness, on Sunday, June 17, 2001, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 58. Helga (nee Klaas), dearly loved wife of Douglas Derby of Little Britain.
