Suddenly on Monday, November 14, 2005 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of 52 years of Joyce (nee Ridley). Loving father of Donna, Wendy (Steve Scanlon), Vicki (Fern Blais), Holly (Geoff Wilson) and the late Gregory. Cherished grandfather of Angela, Jathina, Jesse, Isabelle, Philip, Michelle and Heather. Dear brother of Thelma MacMillan. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Clifford was a Past President of the Bell Telephone Pioneers, Past President of EOSARDA and one-time Editor and contributor to Square Time Magazine, and contributor to Up the Gatineau. He was a 19-year volunteer at the Museum of Nature and a 15-year volunteer at the Museum of Civilization. His travels throughout Canada and the World were among his many varied interests. Melba slipped away as quietly and peacefully as she lived her life, comforted by the love of her daughters, Sharon and Mary Ann. Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Thomas Andrew (Terry) Smythe. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sharon Henthorn and Mary Ann Smythe, sons-in-law Lincoln Henthorn and Phillip Massad, grandchildren Debbie (Raymond Shank), Jason (Tamara Despres) and Joanne (Andrew Lauzon).
