McALEESE, Frank -
(Royal Navy Veteran) On Saturday, July 7, 2001 in his 77th year after a lengthy battle with cancer. Frank, beloved husband of Evelyn for 49 years; loving father of Jim and his wife Kit, John, Anne and her husband Bill Eakin, Kathleen and her husband Al woods; loving grandfather to Sean, Keith, Jamie, Jennifer, Geoffrey, Michell, and Alison. The family will receive friends at Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Ave., Ajax on Wednesday, July 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service at St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic church on Thursday, July 12 at 11 a.m. A special thanks to all the staff at Ajax-Pickering Health Centre for providing aid and comfort in his final weeks. His cheery outlook and happy whistling will be sadly mised by all.

Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Saturday, July 7, 2001. Gloria Nellis, in her 69th year, was the beloved wife of JimSmith. Loving mother of Owen of Port Perry, Edward and his wife Mary Lou of Seagrave, Kevin and his wife Colleen of Greenbank, Heather (Mrs. Kevin Bolton) of Little Britain, Sean and his wife Natasha of Uxbridge and Rosemarie(Mrs. Dean Myers) of Washburn Island. Treasured grandmother of 10 grandchildren. Dear sister of Mrs. Patricia Mines and Mrs. Anne Caufield both of Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scotland and Eddie Nellis and his wife Mary of Corby, England. Dearly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Smith will be resting at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill St. Lindsay on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Mary's Church in Lindsay on Wednesday, July 11 at 11:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Suddenly as the result of a car accident in Minden, ON Saturday, July 7, 2001 in his 53rd year. Rob, dearly loved father of Rory Steele. Beloved son of Ruth and the late Roy Steele. Dear brother of Bonnie Wootton, Wayne Steele, Lori Steele-Holmes, Linda Hedge, and the late Gene. Rob will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. Loving grandmother of Danny, Andrea, Rachel, Sean, Adam, Sarah, Melody, Caitlin and Spencer and great-grandmother of Madison. Dear sister of Gord Conner (deceased) and his wife Leone of Peterborough. Relatives and friends will be received at the Wagg Funeral Home, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Jean Sutherland will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, July 10 at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove cemetery , Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Son of Sid and Eileen Witt of Peterborough. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
