At Marnwood Lifecare Centre, Bowmanville on Monday August 13, 2001 in his 81st year. Stanley, beloved son of the late John Newton and Beatrice Taylor. Loving brother of the late Leslie and Doug Taylor. Dear brother-in-law of Annie Taylor. Loved uncle of Diane, Don, June, Alice and Fred. Stanley will be sadly missed by his friend Roy Fice. Friends may call at the Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville on Wednesday from 1pm until the time of the funeral service at 2pm. Interment Hampton Union cemetery. Donations made in Stanley's memory to the Parkinson Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.

Sister-in-law of Walter Rebot and his wife Sharon, Romana Owens and her husband Garry and the late John Rebot. Aunt of Karen, Christa, Stephanie and Kristian. Godmother of Kristian, Matthew and Michael. Lovingly remembered by the Barluzzi Family in Italy. Loving grandfather of Jan and her husband Rob Kane and Ryan. Dear brother of Carl and James Farrow, Ken Brignall and the late Clarence Farrow. At Clinton's request the Funeral Service was complete in the Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division St., Bowmanville on Tuesday evening at 7pm. Durham Lodge #66 Masonic Service in the Morris Chapel on Tuesday evening at 9pm. Private family interment on Wednesday at Orono cemetery. McNENLY, Wilhelmina (Willie) -
Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Sunday, August 12, 2001. Willie Harris, in her 55th year, was the dear friend of James Finlay of Beaverton and Dale McNenly of Port Perry. Loving mother of Brad and his wife Kelly of Omemee and Davina McNenly and her friend Ryan of Whiskey Creek, Vancouver Island. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Cheyenne and Brendan. Fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters. In keeping with Willie’s wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of memorial donations, friends may plant a tree in memory of Willie. RUSSELL, Craig -
Of Welland, at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Catharines, on Sunday, August 12, 2001, in his 56th year. Cherished husband of Barbara Russell (nee Monaghan). Loved father of Christopher (Chris) and Jeffrey (Jeff) Russell, both of Whitby. Loving son of Hilda Russell of Port Perry and the late George Russell. Dear brother of Isabel Eagleson and her husband Bob of Oshawa. Born in Oshawa, Mr. Russell lived in Sudbury and Port Colborne before moving to Welland in the 1980's. He was employed in the automotive industry, namely as a co-owner of the Schooner Chev Olds dealership in Port Colborne, followed as a salesman and district sales manager for General Motors for 12 years and most recently in the automotive service department of Canadian Tire in Welland. Friends are invited to visit the family at the CUDNEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 241 West Main Street, Welland, on Wednesday, August 15, 2001 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Reverend George Schmidt will conduct a memorial service in the Cudney Chapel on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be deeply appreciated by the Russell family.

HANNAN, Jean -
Peacefully, at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Saturday, August 11, 2001. Jean MacLean, beloved wife of the late Kirby F. Hannan. Dear mother of Jean Low of Uxbridge and the late Arthur Hannan. Survived by seven grandchildren. Sister of Harold MacLean of Thorold, predeceased by Margaret MacLean, Ruth TenBroeck, Walter, John, Hugh and Keith MacLean. Resting at the Funeral Home of Low & Low, Uxbridge (23 Main Street South) for service in the chapel on Tuesday, August 14th, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Interment , Victoria Lawn cemetery , St. Catharines. Resident of Maynooth and long time resident of Whitby. passed away Saturday August 11, 2001 at Trenton Memorial Hospital in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Margaret. Will be sadly missed by Barbara Kellestine and their five children, Deborah Cochrane and her husband Jim, John Kellestine and his wife Karen, Michael Kellestine, Karen Sullivan and her husband Randy, and Bill Kellestine and his wife Sumar. Dear grandfather of Jay, Tabitha, Serena, Jasmine, Dustin, Ryan, Amanda, Jesse, Bobbi-Jane, Melissa, Sheri, Shane, and Katelyn and great grandfather of Tomi-Shae. RENNIE, Irene "Rene" -
passed away at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on Saturday, August 11, 2001, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Rennie. Loving mother of Valerie Budd and Marilyn Torrance. Loving grandmother to Kim Boadway and her husband Tony, Jim Budd and his wife Darlene, Gail Wallace and her friend John Fountain, Glenda Wagner and her husband Dave. Going to be sadly missed by great grandchildren Holly, Ashley and Dillon Boadway, Tyler and Ryan Wallace, Julia Wagner and Kristen Hoffman. Always remembered by her brother-in-law George Rennie, his wife Joan and their family, and my adopted daughter Liz Redshaw plus more relatives and many friends. I was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 22 in Toronto and Branch 483 in Claremont since 1946. As everyone knows, I loved to write so I prepared this ahead of time, and to everyone I remind you I have lived a good long life so please don't shed tears, put on a smile and be glad you knew me as I did you. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at 2 p.m. Interment in Claremont Union cemetery. Loving mother of Janne Lee and her husband Song, Nancy Tamblyn and her husband Allan Noordvyk, David Tamblyn and his wife Lisa, Cindy Gauley and her husband Mike, and Tom Tamblyn. Dear grandmother of Christopher, Carmen, Peter and Benjamin Lee, Ellen Tamblyn and Bronwyn Gauley. Loved daughter of Marjorie Kent Williams and the late Robert Cecil Kent. Loving sister of Carol Barraball, William, James, Brent and Grant Kent. Peacefully at his home, on Friday, August 10, 2001, at age 82. Jack Anonby of Port Perry, loving father of Lauretta Anonby, Ingrid and her husband Richard Whittaker of Victoria Corners, and Erling Anonby and his wife Susan of Ballantrae. Grandfather of Alisa and her husband David Auger, and Laurie and her husband Shawn Hetherington. Great-grandfather of Grace. Relatives and friends will be received at the Wagg Funeral Home, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry, on Monday, August 13th, from 10-11 a.m. A service to celebrate the life of Jack Anonby will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Reverend John Griffen officiating. Interment Pine Grove cemetery , Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry.

BLAKE, Harrison Charles Eric -
A beautiful baby boy was stillborn on Friday August 10, 2001 at Lakeridge Health - Port Perry. We may never know why you left us just a few short days before our lives were to begin together. We do know we already miss his perfect hands and feet, Dad's mouth and Mom's hair. We also deeply miss what may have been, but never will be, while treasuring our nine months of constant companionship. You've given us so much, and taught us even more, that even the ache of your absence could never erase. You'll be in our hearts forever. Sadly missed by parents Peter & Julie Blake of Oshawa, grandparents Jim & Marilyn Einwechter of New Dundee, Pete and Joan Blake of Brooklin, aunts and uncles Sandra & Frank Siragusa of New Dundee, Doug & Kim Einwechter of New Hamburg and Michelle Broughton of Brooklin. Harrison willalso be dearly missed by cousins Valerie, Scott, Drew, Danny, Mike & Lindsey. A private ceremony will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, New Dundee on Saturday August 18, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joanne Peppler officiating. BRITTAIN, Sampson Sydney -
(Of Pickering, Ontario). passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 79, on Friday, August 10, 2001, with his wife and family by his side. Born in Birmingham, England, August 7, 1922, he served in the British Army for 3 years in India, then immigrated to Canada in 1949. He retired after 38 years with Pitney Bowes of Canada. Predeceased by his first wife Florence Cargill (of England). Survived by his present wife Florence, his daughter Anne Prior, son John, and three granddaughters. Also his 6 stepchildren George, Robert, Steven, and the late David Barkhouse, Deborah Ritch, Margo Thorndyke, Marlene O'Donnell and 17 grandchildren. He was always there to give us strength and a smile when we needed it. We will miss you dear husband, Dad, and Grampa. You will always be with us in our hearts. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, August 13. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, August 14, 2001 at 1 p.m. Interment in Pine Hills cemetery , Scarborough. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
