PASKEWICH, Ed –
Peacefully at his home in Woodbridge with his family by his side, on Thursday, January 24, 2002. Loving husband of Jacquie. Cherished father of Kathy and her husband Chad, Gary, Greg, and Bobby. Beloved son of Tinnie and the late Joseph. Dear brother of Stephanie (Mrs. John Kasyn); Roy (his best friend) and his wife Pat; Lillian (Mrs. Dennis Healey) and the late Bill. Sadly missed by Jacquie’s parents, Harold and Molly McCarthy, and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynn and her husband Jim, Diane and her husband Lou, David and his wife Mei, and Chris. Ed was an idol to his many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass was held at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Woodbridge, on Saturday, January 26, 2002, followed by interment at Holy Cross cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME 1-877-987-3964.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday January 23rd, 2002. Hazel, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the Late Lloyd. Loving mother of Murray and his wife Norma, Bob and his wife Bonnie, Audrey, and Barbara and her husband Lloyd Wilbur. Predeceased by her sister Myrtle. Hazel will be sadly missed by her 9 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Hazel Served the Lord faithfully as a songster, League of Mercy member and Secretary, and Recruiting Sergeant. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa. A Funeral Service will be held at the Salvation Army Community Church (710 McQuay Blvd. Whitby) on Saturday January 26th, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Interment MOUNT LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS Whitby. passed away peacefully at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital in the company of her family on Tuesday, January 22, 2002. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Reg, children, Reg and his wife Arlene, Tina, and her cats, Gary and wife Cheryl, Derek and wife Jennifer, Laura-May and husband Steve and grandchildren Alex, Kyle, Pamela, Jacob, Gemma, Ryan, Christopher and Stuart. She will also be remembered by her dog K'Leigh. Loving thoughts are wished overseas from all her family in the U.K. as well as her sister-in-law Gwen and daughters Michelle and Janice in Toronto. PARKIN, Harold Eugene -
passed away at Lakeridge Health, Uxbridge on Tuesday, January 22, 2002, in his 86th year. Dearly loved husband of Ruby Parkin. Fondly remembered by Susanna and Patricia. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Alberta Parkin and his brother Jack Parkin. Harold will be ever remembered by his many close friends and neighbours. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, 79 Baldwin Street, Brooklin Village from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service in the chapel Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Salem cemetery , Pickering. Loving mother of Lois, Wallis (Pete) and Carole. Loving grandmother of Jeffrey and Scott. Retired General Motors Skilled Trades, 36 1/2 years. Peacefully on Sunday, January 20th, 2002, a beloved husband and father. Frank, in his 78th year. Survived by his loving wife Marilyn of 56 years. Dear father of Lynda, and Rick (Lynn). Loving Grandpa of Jeff (Krista), Jason (Terry), Marc and Lesley, and Frank's pride and joy, his great grand daughters, Madison and Reese Bartlett. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Frank's many interests were his family, travel, his cottage and skiing.
