LeDUC, Shirley Kathleen
Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Monday, December 3, 2007 at the age of 73 years. Shirley LeDuc (nee Varcoe), beloved wife of Harry LeDuc of Pefferlaw. Dear mother of Rodger, Raymond, Rhona, all of Pefferlaw, and Rhonda and her husband Ed McDougall of Beaverton. Loving grandmother of Sarah, Tiffany, Norman, Elizabeth, Randy and Robi-Ann. Dear sister of Tom Varcoe and the late George Varcoe. Lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends. The family extends their gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Southlake Regional Health Centre, ICU. Funeral Service in the chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Visitation from 12:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. CALVANO, Carmine
God called Carmine suddenly, on November 7, 2007 at the age of 30. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lisa. He will be cherished by his dear children Gianluca, Michael, and Ashley. Forever loved by his parents Nunzio and Antonietta. Always remembered by his brothers Nunzio (sister-in-law Lisa) and Mauro. Dear son-in-law of Mary Sestito. He will be held dear in the hearts of his "Nonno & Nonna" Joe and Antonietta Franco. Brother-in-law of Antoniette and Joe Forgione, Massimo and Christina Quistini and Jack Sestito. "Nephew" to Rocco and Mike Franco. He was the proud uncle of Adamo and Jordan Calvano, and Joseph Forgione. A memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday December 12, 2007 at 7:00pm from the Roman Catholic Church of Immaculate Conception (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Carmine's family would like to extend a thank you to all friends and relatives for the support and kindness they have demonstrated through this difficult time. Notice dated 2007-12-06

MEDAKOVIC, Rajka R.
The family of Rajka Medakovic regret to announce her unexpected but peaceful death on December 3, 2007 following a severe stroke. Rajka's life will be lovingly remembered and celebrated by her family and friends including husband John, daughter Zlata and her husband Michael Happy, son Tom, son Vlado and his wife Donna, and son Dan and his wife Cheryl Breukelman. A beautiful wife and mother, Rajka was also a cherished and caring grandmother to Joss, Tara, Charlie, Ella, Samantha and Adam. Funeral service from M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway S., Keswick 905-476-7711 on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Suddenly at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the age of 52 years. Ray Pellerin of Sutton, beloved husband of the late Kathy Fennell (nee Dickey). Father of Michelle Pellerin of Newmarket, Michael Pellerin (Morgan) of Alliston, Melissa Pellerin of Newmarket, and Melanie Pellerin of Calgary and step father of Michelle Fennell and John Fennell, both of Jackson’s Point. Loving grandfather of Gavin Pellerin, Cullen Beierl and Liam Fennell. Beloved son of Anita Pellerin of New Brunswick and the late Amedee (Boyd) Pellerin. Brother of Peter Pellerin of New Brunswick and the late David Pellerin. Ray will be lovingly remembered by Kathy’s sisters Susan Wadham (Paul), Billie McCargar (Java), Karen Dickey (Ken), Janie Dickey (Spike), Colleen Nealon (Todd), and Terri Boadway (Tim) and their families. Proud Nana of 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. BOLAND, Michael James
Born January 24, 1941, died peacefully at home on November 30, 2007 surrounded by the loving care of his family. Mike was a devoted husband of forty-one years to Marie (nee Kelly), a beloved father to Scott, Brad (Kirsten Nicolson), Craig, and Kelly (David Hilborn), and the adored 'Poppa' of Cait and Luke Hilborn and Murray and Moira Boland. He is also survived by his sisters Patricia Fortnum of Toronto and Jo Ann Wright of Hamilton. A thoughtful, kind and generous man who was always willing to share skills, knowledge and time with others. Mike will be sadly missed by his large extended family and many friends. McALLISTER, James
It is with great sadness that the family of James McAllister announce his sudden passing on Friday, November 30th, 2007, at the age of 63. Lovingly remembered as a devoted husband to Jean (nee Keelan) and championship father to Andrew (Tricia), Michael (Heather) and Fraeser (Michelle). Proud Grandad to Scott, Fiona, Ian and Cameron, and was happily anticipating a fifth grandchild. Beloved brother to Josephine, Patricia, William, David, Catherine, Bernadette and Michael. James had a successful career at IBM for 30 years, was recently retired and enjoyed his extra time for family, gardening, golf and travel. DENNIS, John (Jack) Charlebois
Born October 12, 1917, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2007 in his 91st year at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, with his family at his side. Jack, beloved husband of 60 years to Gloria (nee Peppiatt). Loving father of Marc (Phyllis), Christine Sirett (Greg), Susan Skuce (Dwight), Theresa Varey (Dale), Jeff (Debbie), Julia Duck (Andy), Elizabeth Galluzzo (Joe), Lucy Kuryliw (John) and Caroline Davis (Richard). Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by 27 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Adelaide Kral and Joan Saker and predeceased by his brothers Howard, Allan and Paul. Jack served his country in the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve (RCNVR) from 1940-1945. Jack served on Corvettes including the HMCS Chambly. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Newmarket Health Centre and the Palliative Care Unit of Southlake Regional Health Centre. Passed peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on August 2nd, 2007 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Margret Jean Babcock (nee Archibald). Caring brother-in-law of Marion Elizabeth Burkholder (Archibald). Loving father to Fred (Phensri), Scott (Brenda), Marion (Norm Knisley), Hugh (Sharla) and Bruce (Susan). Dear grandfather of Prathy Somsiri, Stephanie and Rebecca, Kris and Kelli, Christa, Dana and Adam, Eliza-Jane. Proud great-grandfather of Tyruss, Empia, Maia, Olivia and Morgan. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Bill will be sadly missed by his many friends and colleagues.
