Jean was born in York Township, on December 29, 1922 and passed away at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on July 6, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Russell Peterson. Loving mother of Richard and his wife Ellen. Dear sister of Ivy Sears and the late Lillian McConkey. passed away suddenly at home on July 6th, 2007. He is survived by his wife Marion (Myra) and their 5 children, Steven, John, Andrea (Bill), Scott (Heather) and Richard. Beloved husband of the late Joan (Loosemore) and dear father of Mark and his wife Cindy. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Laura and Phillip. Dear brother of Mary Creagh, O.B.E. Dan was a Master Mason and as such taught many others. He was also an avid horseman, lover of all sports, an enthusiastic hunter in his early years, and an avid conservationist in his latter years. Also during his latter years, he renewed his love of trumpet playing. Cherished father of Dale and Jennifer Baker of Keswick, Vicki and Eric Cotton of Cannington, and Rod and Cheryl Baker of Pefferlaw. Adored Poppa of Jonathan, Jeremy and Joshua Baker; Jeff and Mike Cotton; Brandon, Brittney and Kaitlynn Baker. Grandson David Cotton met Poppa for the first time in Heaven. Loving brother to Eileen Baker, Verna Snow and Marion Duncan. Al was the owner of Bakers Furniture, Pefferlaw, and a 32 year volunteer of the Pefferlaw Fire Department, serving as a firefighter and retiring as the District Chief.
