Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Sunday, July 1, 2007. Lee Sheppard of Bradford at 71 years of age. Beloved husband of Roberta. Loving father of Donna (Garry Landl), Kathy (Marvin Janse), Lynn (Rick Martindale), Matthew (Melanie) Sheppard and Krista Sheppard. Proud grandfather of Lee, Michael, Jason, Sarah, Steven, Scott, Jenna, Chris, Greg and Cole. Great grandfather of Abigail and Victoria. Lee will be sadly missed by his sister Nina (Len Munn), his brother Roy Sheppard, and his relatives and friends. Cherished nonna of Anthony and his wife Lee-Anne, Jillian, and Travis Agresti (Cherisse Woonsam); Jason and his wife Cintia Furlan, Frankie and his wife Samantha Furlan; Danielle and Cassandra DeLuca, Joseph, Vince Jr. and Samantha Turturici. Dear great nonna of Braeden Hunter Agresti; Siena Azzura Furlan. Dear sister of Costantina and the late Federico Agresti, the late Gemma and the late Mario Governo, the late Anna and the late Mario Lovato, the late Mauricia and the late Nando Brezzi, Ameglia and Guiseppe Vanilla. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone... For part of us went with you the day God called you home. But little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. At London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital, on Friday, June 29, 2007. Jim Pollard of Dorchester in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Judy Murray. Sadly missed by his stepchildren: Dave Murray (wife Karen) of Dorchester, Brian Murray of London, Andy Murray (wife Elaine) of Shedden and Jamie Murray (wife Deborah) of Bethany, ON. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Luke, Chad, Brittnie and Céline; Spencer and Owen; Rebecca, Emily and Duncan; Stefanie and Hayden. Predeceased by his brother Ed Barrow and his sister Muriel Graham. Also survived by five nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, Dorchester Friday, July 6, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Dorchester Community Centre on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. (with visitation 2 hours prior). LOWE, Dr. Linda
(Large Animal Veterinarian)
Suddenly on Sunday, July 1, 2007 in her 54th year. Linda will be sadly missed by her long-time partner Iran Gonzalez, her parents Twila and the late Walter Lowe, sisters Mardi and Candace and brothers Robin and Jeff. Dr. Lowe graduated from the University of Guelph and began her Veterinarian career in Saskatchewan. During that time, she was judged queen of the Saskatchewan Stampede and Exhibition where she led the parade on horseback. In Ontario, she practiced at various horse shows, the CNE for many years as well as the Royal Winter Fair. At the Pan Am games in Cuba, she was the FEI Veterinarian. Linda was an accomplished musician, who trained at the Toronto Conservatory of Music and participated in many musical shows and the Kiwanis Festival. Friends will be received at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME "NEWMARKET CHAPEL", 524 Davis Dr., Newmarket, 905-898-2100 from 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007. A celebration of Linda's life will be held in the Chapel at 1 o'clock. Notice dated 2007-07-05

Also survived by his niece Amy, nephew Stephen, brother-in-law Ron Lovelock, sister-in-law Colleen Laing and dear friend of Dean Gilbert. Gone to be with her Lord on Tuesday July 3th, 2007 in her 85th year. Survived by her loving daughters Susan Evans and Shirley Walker; grandchildren Daniel (Susan), Matthew (Lorna), Justin, Jennifer; great-grandchildren Rollin, Timothy, Jonathan and Ashlyn. Solveig was pre-deceased by her loving husband Walter. Solveig will be lovingly remembered by her many friends in the Markham/Stouffville area. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to her dear friend Anja. Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 275 Lesmill Road, Toronto, Ontario (416-441-1580) on Friday July 6th from 2 until 4pm and from 7 until 9pm. A celebration of Solveig's life will be held on Saturday July 7th, 2007 at 11 am in the chapel. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens cemetery , Scarborough, Ontario. CLARK, Richard John
It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Richard after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Markham-Stouffville Hospital in his 30th year. Rich is survived by his loving wife Wendy (nee Smith), his children Madison (4 yrs.) and Jaxon (8 months), parents Barb and John Clark, sister Linda (Wilfred Wight) brothers Bruce McLaren (Laura), Steven Clark (Kim). Rich will be missed by his 7 nieces and nephews and his in-laws Dave, Pauline and Nicola Smith. Rich will be remembered by his many friends and family. Special thanks to the CCAC and the Palliative Care unit at Markham-Stouffville Hospital. Friends will be received at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 143 Main Street North (Markham Rd), Markham on Saturday July 7th from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated. passed away peacefully at Fairhaven Home, Peterborough on Sunday, October 5, 2008 in her 86th year. Ilean was the beloved wife of the late James Martin, mother of James, Ronald, Judith and Sharon. Grandmother of many. A memorial service and reception will be held at the Newmarket Veterans Hall, 406 Millard Ave., Newmarket on Monday, October 27, 2008 beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimers Association would be appreciated by Illean's family.
