Passed peacefully at the Butternut Manor in Uxbridge on Monday, November 22, 2010 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband Morris, her son Michael, her brother Morley and her sister Lorna. Wonderful mother to Roger (Gloria), Joye (Carl Cornell), Faye (Al Longhurst), Murray (Valerie) and Stephen (Annette). Proud and loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her sister Audrey. A devoted teacher, community and church worker – an inspiration to those whose lives she has touched. Doris passed away peacefully at ReachView Village Nursing Home in Uxbridge, Ontario in her 93rd year. Doris was predeceased by her husband James Harrow in 1975. She is survived by her sister Lola Kennedy of Uxbridge. She will be remembered as a loving aunt to Alexandria Frood of Victoria, Thomas Frood (Jan) of Wilton, and Wendy Frood Auger of Uxbridge. She was a beloved great aunt to Tom Greaves (Denise), Malcom Wynden (Joan), Thom Frood, Marjorie Greaves, Elizabeth Ashworth (Paul), David Frood, David Auger (Alisa) and her great great nieces and nephews Emma, Oliver, Ian, Garrett, and Emma. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A private family service to celebrate Doris’ life will be held at Mount Pleasant cemetery in Toronto. In her 88th year, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Predeceased by her loving husband Paul William Schul. Cherished great grandmother of Tyler (Cornwall) and Amanda (Mimra). Born in Czechoslovakia, Rose immigrated to Canada in 1953. Three years after moving here, Rose began painting inspired by her memories of her father and his painting techniques. She used those vague images to slowly but steadily develop her own talent and her own style. Rose resided in the country where she received most of her inspiration from the nature around her.
