passed away peacefully away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late FO Victor H. Wilson 1914 – 1944 RCAF and the late William Adamson 1907 – 1983. She was much loved and cherished by her daughter Marg MacMillan and son-in-law George, and son Donald Wilson and her dear grandchildren; Victor and Michael MacMillan, Lori Lefley, Margaret Wilson, Robert Wilson and Dr. Katelyn Wilson-Fell. She doted on her great grandchildren who were the joy of her life; Joseph, Georganna and Samantha MacMillan of Atlanta, Mikayla, Alyssa and Abby MacMillan of Morrisburg, Kyle and Stephanie Lefley of Uxbridge, Katie Wilson of Toronto, Emily Wilson of Toronto, and Jake and Tess Wilson-Fell of Norwood. She will also be missed by Catherine Van Nostrand and her friend Sheila Henderson and her many friends at Testa Apartments. Myrtle was born at Saintfield on January 18, 1915, the daughter of Herbert Faux and Edith Smith. She was predeceased by her brother Les Faux and her sister Marjorie Mason. Myrtle was instrumental in starting a very successful children’s Saturday bowling league in Uxbridge in the 70’s. She loved to play bridge and euchre, crossword puzzles and her knitting kept her busy. We will miss you Mom.
