Clark, Norine

passed away peacefully on December 31, 2007. Beloved daughter of Stan Clark and his companion Jessie Ferron. Loving sister of Cheryl Allen and her husband Lee Allan, dear Aunt of Sean Allen and his wife Missy Allen and Neil Allen, beloved Great Aunt o0f Hailie and Hayden, dear niece of Norine McDonald, Lorraine Richards and Raymond Clark. Norine will be missed by all friends, family and the PJ girls. She has gone to meet her mother Jean Clark. She will also be missed by the staff of Pace. Visitation was held at Low and Low Funeral Home 1763 Reach Road, Port Perry Ontario (905) 985-7331 on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Raymer, Douglas Arthur

Douglas Arthur Raymer, surrounded by his family, was peacefully promoted home to Glory to be with his Lord and Saviour on December 29, 2007 in his 76th year. Doug is lovingly remembered by his wife Pat, children Rita & Barry, Bruce & Cheryl, Ian & Joan, daughter-in-law Jody & John, grandchildren Jennifer & Dwayne, Lindsey & Micah, Christen & Andrew, Melissa (1998-2002), Michael, Mark, Amanda, Alyssa, honorary grandchildren Ben, Katie, Jason, and great-grandchildren Hendrik, and Riley. Special thanks to all of Doug’s caregivers, especially Dr. Douglas Wu, the nursing staff at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, his homecare providers, and all the blood donors who helped Doug through the past six months. Visitation was held at Low and Low Funeral Home 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge Ontario (905) 852-3073 on Monday, December 31, 2007 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beaverton Presbyterian Church Vision Fund or to Canadian Blood Services.

Noble, Dorothy Aileen

Peacefully on Friday, December 28, 2007 at Reach View Village Nursing Home, Uxbridge. In her 89th year. Dorothy beloved wife of the late Harold. Dear mother of Jim and his wife Joyce of Atlanta, Bruce and his wife Renate of Trenton, Ivan and his wife Marion of Stouffville, Marilyn and her husband Don of Milton. Fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Survived by brothers Fred and Frank Wagner and sister Verna McPhail. Rested at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge 23 Main Street South (905) 852-3073 on Monday, December 31, 2007 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service was held in the chapel on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Uxbridge cemetery. In Dorothy’s memory donations may be made to the Uxbridge Baptist Church or the Gideons.

Lamont, Sarah Virginia Magladery
November 15th 1952 - December 21st 2007

After a tumultuous battle with cancer, Sarah passed away peacefully in the morning of December 21st 2007, with her family and friends by her side. Sarah’s vibrant memory lives on with her many friends, her brother John, her closest friend Debbie, her children Jessie and Connor, and their father David. In keeping with Sarah’s constant and unwavering positive spirit, a Memorial Service and Celebration of her life was held at the Low and Low Funeral Home 23 Main Street South Uxbridge Ontario (905) 852-3073 on Saturday, December 29th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. It was followed by a reception at the Uxbridge Music Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society, if so desired. Endless thanks are extended to the staff at Sunnybrook, particularly Ann Blair and Dr. Rebecca Dent, the doctors and nurses at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital as well as her many friends and relations that were of great support and comfort to Sarah and her family throughout this difficult time.

Long, Pearl

passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. Pearl is survived by her sister Melva McDonald. Loving aunt of Jill Abbott and Beth Cornell (Craig). Great aunt of Wendy Serroul, Chris Abbott, and Kim and Laurie Cornell. The family would like to thank the staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their special care given to Pearl. A private family service will be held in the spring.

Rudd, Edward Albert

Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Daisy Rudd. Loving father of Daphne and her husband Harvey, Joyce and her husband Kevin and Shirley and her husband Bruce. Devoted grandfather of Amanda, Jennifer, Ted, Darren and Teressa. Devoted great-grandfather to Andrew, Anika, Mitchel, Jacob, Rebecca, Cullen and Sam. Remembered with pride as a WWII Veteran. Best loved for his kindness as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Appreciated for his contribution to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 170 and Uxbridge Seniors Centre. Family will receive friends and share refreshments at the Royal Canadian Legion (109 Franklin Street, Uxbridge) on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Coxworth, Lloyd Geroge

passed away at Westshore Village Retirement Home, Port Perry. In his 90th year. On Thursday, December 13, 2007. Lloyd was the beloved husband of the late Grace Coxworth (nee Morgan) Father of Wanda and Bob Heise, Bryan and Barb, and Kevin and Vyvan. Special Papa of Jenny, Sharie, Amanda, Kayla, Emily, Megan, Nathan, Kyle and Eric and Great Papa of Harmony and Sarah Grace. Brother of Ray (Marianne) of Uxbridge, Lois Annarino (Tony) of California, Brother-in-law of Ada and Mary. Predeceased by brothers Frank and Gordon and sister Eileen Tapscott. Step Grandfather of Steven, Wendy and Darrell and six step-great grandchildren. Rested at the Low and Low Funeral Home 23 Main Street South Uxbridge (905) 852-3073 on Monday, December 17, 2007 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service was held in the chapel on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of donations to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated.

passed away suddenly at his home in Uxbridge on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the age of 50. Son of Lisa and the late Werner Bache. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his three children Ashley, Kevin (mother Alice) and Mitchell (mother Danielle), brother Ralph (Bonnie) and his niece Briar and nephew Colton. As president of Contact Media Inc. and President and CEO of GameWear Ronnie leaves behind many friends and business associates who will miss him dearly. passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Port Perry on Friday, December 7, 2007 at the age of 83. Ken Rodd husband of the late Mildred Rodd. Loving father of Marilyn (Ken) Beacock-White, Shirley (John) Foster and Keith (Donna) Rodd. Dear grandfather of Lee, Blair and Craig Beacock, Annette (Todd) Soomre and predeceased by Scott Foster, Jacqueline (Darren) Burch, Daryl and Bryon Rodd and great grandfather of Graham, Gregory, Annalise and Alyssa Soomre and Kylar Burch. Brother of Marion Perigoe, Murray Rodd and Cliff Rodd. Ken will be missed by his aunt Doris Tobin and sister in law Alexa McMillan. Loving friend of Jackie Martin. passed away peacefully at the Markham/Stouffville Hospital on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 in her 88th year. Jean was the beloved wife of the late Ross Redshaw and the late Van Bell. Loved mother of Wayne (Gail) Redshaw, Donna Wideman (Al Jenson), Jack (Elizabeth) Redshaw, Ted (Patty) Redshaw, stepson Wayne (Donna) Bell and predeceased by son Larry Redshaw, daughter in law Sandra Redshaw and stepson Bill Bell. Dear grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jean is predeceased by her sisters Muriel and Esther and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
