RUBYANN BUCKNER December 12, 1951 - October 22, 2006 Rubyann passed away peacefully in the caring arms of her family on Sunday, October 22, 2006. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Bob; children Allison and Lauren; sisters Linda (William), Sylvia (Hugh), Temple (Brad) and sisters-in-law Bonnie and Chery (Chip); brothers Lloyd (Debra), Lee and Terry; and many special cousins, nephews, nieces; and many precious friends. Rubyann fought her 10-year battle with breast cancer with courage and dignity. Rubyann was the consummate giver whose caring counsel and advice was valued by everyone who knew her. She is a fabulous role model and will be dearly missed. Special thanks to Dr. Cecily Bryce and the B.C. Cancer Agency, Bayshore Community Health Services, Pacific Spirit Community Health Centre, and the palliative care doctors and nurses, all of whom exceeded our highest expectations. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 16th, Dunbar Heights United Church, 3525 West 24th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. ANDERSON, Mary Celista - Peacefully at the South Haven Nursing Home in Huntsville on Friday, November 17, 2006. Mary Celista Anderson (nee Coulson) in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John Anderson. Dear mother of Robert and his wife Jean Anderson of Gravenhurst and Mardie Anderson of Edmonton. Predeceased by her daughter Betty Jane Anderson in 1951 and by her brother George Coulson. Mary was the beloved grandmother to Kevin Anderson, Murray Anderson and his wife Barbara, and Ronald Anderson and his wife Michelle, and she was the beloved great-grandmother to Thomas, Charlize, Octavia, Xavier and Liliana. A Service to celebrate the life of Mary Celista Anderson will be held at the Lakeside United Church in Walker's Point on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. BURKE, Dorothy Mary Anne - Following a courageous battle with cancer, peacefully passed away in London, Ontario on Friday November 24, 2006 in her 88th year. Loving sister of Vincent Burke and his wife Eleanor of London, Ontario. Beloved sister in law of Irene Burke of Newmarket, Ontario. Predeceased by her loving mother Anna and father Timothy, as well as by her cherished brothers Jerry (Helen) and Jack. Dorothy will also be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
