ELASCHUK, William (Bill) - Peacefully at North York General Hospital on March 8, 2008 in his 75th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Elaine (MacLeod). MADISON, James Albert - Left us at dawn, on February 27, 2008, 5 days after his 93rd birthday, to join his beloved wife Ella (2003). Greatly missed by his children Iona (Pete), Ken (Jennifer), Gail (Frank), Susan and his grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law Kurt (Marg), and his family in Northern Ontario and Manitoba. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his caring neighbours Mr. and Mrs. May and Mr. Hoppe for their kindness. Jim lived a full, rich life right up until the end. He was a dedicated educator who began his teaching career in a one room schoolhouse in Northern Ontario and finished his career as a Vice Principal at Kingsmill Vocational School in Etobicoke. He enjoyed travelling with his wife Ella in his retirement years and spending winters in Florida. After the death of his beloved wife, he spent his winters in Ajijic, Mexico where he enjoyed the camaraderie of his new found friends. He was the eternal optimist, happy and always looking at the bright side of life, telling wonderful stories and serenading us with his songs. Forever the teacher he never lost his thirst for knowledge, from learning poetry in his 90's to discussing the newest computer programs with his friends and family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Honouring his wishes, no funeral services will be held. Love you Dad - till we meet again.
