ABERNETHY, Marie
Peacefully in the compassionate care of the staff at Providence Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 5th Floor, B Wing on Sunday, August 21, 2005 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob). Loving mother of DaIe Robert and Craig David. Dear sister of Gloria Phalen and Donald Roxborough and the late Orma Everett. There will be "A Celebration of Marie's Life" to be announced at a later date. No formal Funeral or Service will be performed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the SCARBOROUGH FUNERAL CENTRE (2966Eglinton Avenue East, at Bellamy Road), 416-289-2558.

ABRAHAM, Alice (England)
(May 13, 1931 - October 14, 2006)
Alice gained her angel wings on October 14, 2006 at the York Central Hospital surrounded by her family at the age of 75. God went into His garden and picked the most beautiful rose to join her parents Alice and Benjamin, sister Claire, brother Dick and many friends in the garden of eternal rest. Beloved wife of Derek (Donny) Abraham for over 55 years. Loving mother of daughter Debbie Bailie (Bob), son Steve Abraham (Cheryl), sister of Hazel Irvine, Charlie England (Gwen), Bruce England (Iva), Ethel Fero and Phillip England, grandma of Jennifer Bailie (AJ Jackson), Samantha Smith (Frazer-Scotland), and aunt of many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Strong, courageous, loving and kind, she had a tremendous joy for life, loved animals and her beautiful garden and cherished her family and friends. She will be remembered for forever standing at the front door waving goodbye. Friends may call at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 10366 Yonge St., Richmond Hill (4th traffic light north of Major Mackenzie Drive) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Thursday at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.

ABRAHAM, Marjorie J.
Died peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital on November 23rd, 2006 in her 92nd year. Marjorie was a longtime resident of Swansea (Toronto) and until recently took an active interest in the history of that village. She was the beloved daughter of William and Flossie Abraham and the sister of the late Dennis. She leaves cousins Joy Boblitt of Virginia, Reverend Canon Beverley Brightling of Toronto, John Brightling of Listowel, Dolly Burgen and Betty Taylor both of London England, as well as many other relatives and friends. Her happy disposition will be missed by all who knew her. There will be a private service at the gravesite at a later date. Notice of the time and place will be announced in this paper. ABRAHAM, Lizzie Chelvamany (nee Nicholas)
passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2006 in Toronto at the age of 86 years, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Tommy Abraham and mother of Bala Abraham, Nirmala Christine Theivendra and Irene Sathiadevi Manoharan and mother-in-law of Thiru Abraham, Rasiah Theivendra and Manoharan Selvaratnam. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Roshan and Shanika Abraham and Dileeni Abraham, Wiji Leonard Theivendra, Larraine Tanuja and Ajayan Kadirgamar, Anusha and Dirome Anthony and Samantha Manoharan and great-grandson Arjuna. She was the youngest daughter of the late Chinnadurai Nicholas and Kanmani of Sri Lanka, and the last surviving member as a sister of her large family of brothers Julius Nicholas, Ponnudurai Nicholas, Blake Nicholas, Walter Nicholas, Bernard Nicholas, and Victor Nicholas and sisters Mrs. Kanagaratnam, Mrs. Nagamuthu, Mrs. Sinnatamby and Mrs. Angela Rajadurai. Friends and family will be received at Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (at Warden) on Monday, November 13 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m.

Peacefully, at the Sunnybrook Hospital, with her family by her side, on Wednesday August 10, 2005. Friends will be received at the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East (west of Warden 416-773-0933) on Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 14 Highgate Dr., Markham. Interment Highland Memory Gardens. Donations to the Sunnybrook Cancer Research Centre in Sonia's name, would be greatly appreciated.

passed away peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Albert Raines. Loving mother of Billy (Brenda), and Sandra. Devoted grandmother of Elliot. Sister of Roy Abraham (Barbara) and the late Olga Violet Hudyma. Loving aunt of Robin Abraham, Robert Hudyma, Stephen Paul Hudyma, the late Stephen Abraham, and sister-in-law of William Hudyma. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2006. Service in the chapel on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Pleasant cemetery with a reception to follow in the funeral home lounge. PAULSON, Jim "The Voice"
JIM "THE VOICE" PAULSON January 10, 1940 - February 13, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of one of the most recognizable voices and broadcasting personalities whose voice was silenced on Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Predeceased by his first son Brad, his first wife Lynn, and second wife Kitty. Loving dad to Todd and his fianc�e Charlotte Deutsch of Gothenburg, Sweden. Also lovingly remembered by his special friend Patricia MacKellar. Caring grandpa Jim to Devin and Ashley. Remembered by his brother Roger (Sheila) and sister Sharon (Cliff Betz) and their families, as well as his extended families of Toby, Joyce, Melanie and Sam, Chris, Mary and Fiona Meredith; and Georgia, Peter, Brendan and Martha Kovalik. Brother-in-law to Tom, Esther and Jack. Special thanks to all his co-workers at AM740 and Kingsmere On The Park. A private service will be taking place, with a public celebration of Jim's life, at a later date. Details to be announced through AM740. Surrounded by her loving family on July 9, 2007 at Toronto General Hospital, at the age of 72. She will be reunited in heaven with her husband Marino. Cherished by her children Eva and her husband Tony Marra, Sandra and her husband Frank Di Filippo and son Angelo. Fondly remembered by her four grandsons Luigi, Marino, Nicholas and Cristian. Relatives and friends will be received at the BERNARDO FUNERAL HOMES (2960 Dufferin Street, two blocks south of Lawrence Avenue) on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 13th, 2007 in Transfiguration Of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church (45 Ludstone Drive) at 10:15 a.m. Entombment Queen Of Heaven cemetery. FARBER, Mary Isobel
(Retired Teacher, Parkside Public School and Member of Don Mills United Church). passed away peacefully at the Toronto East General Hospital on Saturday, July 7, 2007 in her 97th year. Mary (Lumsden), wife of the late Wm. S. Farber of Toronto. Mary was the loved sister of Allan D. Todd (Irene) of Buckingham, Quebec and special aunt to their children Anne (deceased), James (Jody), John (Bev), Sheila (John) and Alistar (Kelly). Mary also leaves to mourn her loss several great-nieces, great-nephews and a special cousin Georgia Allan of Smiths Falls. Celebration of Life Services will be held in the TRULL "EAST TORONTO" FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1111 Danforth Ave., (one block east of Donlands subway) on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at twelve o'clock. Reception to follow the Service. Further visitation will take place at the BLAIR & SON FUNERAL HOME, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls, Ontario from 12 noon Monday, July 16, 2007 with commencement of Services in the chapel at one-thirty o'clock. Interment Hillcrest cemetery.
