FITZGERALD, Leo Lawrence
At Toronto General Hospital on Monday, July 9, 2007. Lawrence Fitzgerald of Kirkfield was the beloved husband of the late Mary Maude (McNaney) Fitzgerald (2000). Dear father and father-in-law of Anne Marie (Pat) Egan of Brechin, Patrick (Leslie) of Oshawa, Leo (Patti) of London, David (Susan) of Bolsover, Kevin (Darlean) of Schomberg and predeceased by Michael (1968) and Laura (1994). Grandfather of Erin, Kevin, Mary, Neil, Luke, Molly, Amberliegh, Michael, Jessica, Jarvis and Hailey. Brother of Veronica, Leona, Frank (Cathy), Ramona, Dolores (Don), Patrick and predeceased by John, Muriel, Joseph and William. The family will receive friends at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton (705-426-5777) on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Brechin on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary's cemetery , Victoria Road, Ontario. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the SickKids Foundation.

passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 after a long, courageous battle with cancer at Hill House Hospice, at the age of 52. Stan Friedman, beloved husband of Sharon. Loving father of Alyssa, Seth, and Michael. A graveside service will be held at Pardes Shalom cemetery in the Community Section on Wednesday, July 11th at 11:00 a.m. Shiva 55 Coldstream Crescent in Richmond Hill. Suddenly at home at Brampton on Saturday, July 7th, 2007, in his 23rd year. Much loved son of Tony and Maureen. Loved brother of Matthew and Katherine. Beloved grandson of Betty Reeder. Sadly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main Street South (Hwy. 10), Brampton, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Leonard's Roman Catholic Church, 187 Conestoga Dr. (North of Bovaird), Brampton on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. Burial Queen of Heaven cemetery. BODDINGTON, Ann, BA (Oxon)
Ann Boddington, honorary member of University of Toronto Scarborough where she was a member of the faculty in Humanities (Classics) 1965-1995, was born in Burghill, Hereford, England on September 21, 1929 and died on June 11, 2007 at Scarborough General Hospital. She will be greatly missed by her family in England, her brother Ray Boddington and his wife Norma, her sister Elizabeth (Lib) Bennett and her husband Rodney, by her nieces and nephews in Britain and Australia and by her many friends, neighbours and colleagues. Friends will be received at the "SCARBOROUGH CHAPEL" of McDougall & Brown, 2900 Kingston Road (east of St. Clair Avenue E.) on Thursday from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Funeral Service in Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. The Ann Boddington Prize has been established and will be presented annually to a student who has made a significant contribution to Music Performance and also exemplifies good College citizenship. Peacefully at Fosterbrooke Long-Term Care Facility, Newcastle on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the age of 70 years. Betty, beloved wife of Walter John (Billy) Hale. Loved mother of James William Hale and his wife Carolyn, Donna Marie Stark and her husband Terry. Loving grandmother of Laurie Hale (Rob), Jenny Hale (Roger), Rebecca Hale (Chris), Paul Stark and Jamie Stark, and great-grandmother of Trevor, Alyssa and twins Carson and Carlie. Dear brother of James Waddington and his wife Marie. Friends may pay their respects at the MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4 Division St., Bowmanville on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service complete in the MORRIS CHAPEL on Friday, July 13th at 1 p.m. Cremation at Bowmanville Crematorium with interment of cremated remains in Bowmanville cemetery. AMORY, Diana Jean (nee Rutherford)
Suddenly on May 4th, 2008, leaving daughter Rachel and husband Jos�, sister Karilyn Hollebone and husband Keith and their daughters Shawna and Amanda, step-mother Barbara Rutherford, step-sister Debbie Hoffman and her sons Damion and Zane, and step-brother Kurt Newman and family. Memorial service on Friday at 2 p.m. at The Simple Alternative, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga, 905-602-1580. ARMSTRONG, June Adelaide
passed away peacefully in her 83rd year and went to meet her Lord after a long struggle with ALS and cancer at Humber River Regional Hospital Finch Site on Monday, May 5, 2008. June had a full life, graduating as an RN from Toronto General Hospital in May 1946, practicing as a nurse, then moving to teaching, retiring from Humber College Lakeshore in August 1987. She is predeceased by her father Tom, mother Jean, brothers Lorry and Cecil, sisters Eileen, Ann and Mary, brothers-in-law Ken, Bill and Art, sisters-in-law Evelyn and Joan and nephew Tom. She is survived by her brother Bill (Joan), niece Lynda (Dick), nephews Bruce (Linda), Michael (Ruth), Bill (Val) and Paul, and grandnephews Drew (Laura), David, John and Bayne. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at HRRH Finch Site, West Park Long Term Care Centre and Grenadier Retirement Residence for their kindness and care. Thanks are extended as well for the many small acts of kindness shown June by friends and strangers during her illness, they were all much appreciated. Friends may call at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, in Toronto, Wednesday, May 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, May 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Service and Interment Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, with reception to follow. Peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at home, with family by her side. Beverley, loving daughter to Orwyn and predeceased by her father Ferdinand. Loving wife to Ken.
