Suddenly at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday August 10, 2007 in his 77th year. Ralph, beloved husband of Lois and dear father of Tim Strotholt (Annie), Carol and her husband Bill Landon, and Darrel (Gail). Loving grandfather of Kris, Kelly, Tyler, Rebecca, Arlys and the late Scott and Stacy. Brother of Morris (June). He will be lovingly remembered by the rest of his family and friends. Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Wednesday August 15th from 11 a.m. until time of complete service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation. D'SILVA, Marie Iona Phyllis (nee Wallis)

Beloved wife of the late Freeman, darling mother of Christopher, Aubrey and Melanie, and sister of Daphne, Meredith and the late Edgar, Walter, and Yolande, passed away peacefully May 11, 2007 in Toronto, Canada. Visitation at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto (2 lights west of Yonge St.) on May 14, 2007 between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anselm's Catholic Church, 1 McNaughton Road, Toronto (east of Bayview Ave. at Millwood Rd.) on May 15, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. She never quite leaves her loved ones at home, even when she doesn't take them along.

DEAN, Pauline

PAULINE DEAN passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 82. Beloved youngest daughter of the late Bertha and Ed Dean. She is survived by her dear sister Mandy Carter of Edmonton. Predeceased by her sister Ruth Carter and brother Paul Dean. Aunt Pauline will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews: Pat Mault, Bill Carter, Don Carter and Pauline Young, all of Edmonton, Gordon Carter of Larder Lake, Ed Dean of Ayr, Margaret Dean of Elliot Lake, and their families. Pauline worked for many years in Toronto for Lions International and enjoyed world travel, the symphony, theatre, skiing and golfing with her friends. She was a devout Catholic who remained an active member of her parish for over 50 years. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 2565 Bathurst St. on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 10 a.m. A luncheon will take place in the church hall, following the service. Interment Holy Cross cemetery at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

DELANEY, Yvonne - passed away suddenly on April 6, 2008. She was in her early 60s. Yvonne is sadly missed by her many friends who remember her for her pleasant personality and courage. - Derek and Al.

DIETL, Adelheid - Peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2008, in her 98th year. Adelheid beloved wife of the late Adalbert. Loving mother of Dora (Wolfram), Annemarie Lau, Engelbert (Dallas), Linde (Erwin), Walter (Alma), Hermann (Lorraine) and predeceased by sons Wilhelm, Walter Paul, Herman, Adalbert and Alois. She will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (131 McCaul Street) on Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

DOWSE, Beatrice Emily - passed away peacefully on May 2, 2008 at Scarborough General Hospital in her 85th year. Dearly beloved wife and best friend for 65 years of Norman Dowse. Beloved mother of Terry Lee Caguiat (cherished son-in-law Wilfred), Patrica Dowse, and Nancy Parsons. Cherished Nana of Johnathon, Jessica, Justin, Lindsay, Neil, Julie, Stacey, Robin, Steven, and Paul. Great-Grandmother to 6. Beatrice was laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens.

Much loved mother of Eddie and his wife Nancy of Sarnia, and Lori and her husband Greg Duff of Brooklin. Grandmother of Crystal, Cole and Adam. Survived by her sisters Eileen of Irish Town and Florence and Jean of Corner Brook, and her brother Charlie of Toronto. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Brooklin/ Whitby from 5 - 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service in the chapel Thursday morning, May 8th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Norwood cemetery , Norwood, ON. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

ESCUDERO-ROGSTAD, Josefina (Josie) - March 19, 1933 - April 26, 2008 Beloved wife of the late Alf Rogstad. Loving sister of Ely (Arnold Kendall), Vicky (Wilbur Reburiano), Jos� Jr. (Julie), Carmelita (Judge Cesar Santamaria), George (Evangeline) and the late Ricardo (Angelita). Devoted step-mother of Gunnar (Kim) and Stein (Jacquie) Rogstad. Very special Lola to Erik, Casey, Samantha and Quinn. Josie is fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends around the world. Cremation has taken place. A reception in Josie's memory will be held at the Tin Cup Room, Metro Police Association, 180 Yorkland Blvd. on Thursday, May 8 from 6 - 9 p.m.

Survived by sisters Sonya Perry, Jean Zuk (Stanley), Mary Laing (Merle), Anne O'Neill, Leslie Nemez, and her sister-in-law Sharon Zahorodny. Predeceased by Alex John and sister Emily. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Fero (1980). Loving mother of Sandra Yeomans (Bob) of Indian River and Frank of Winnipeg. Dear sister of Charles, Bruce, Phillip and Hazel. Predeceased by a brother Richard and sisters Claire and Alice. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews especially Marie. Dear sister-in-law of Dora (Ed). Special friend of Judy and Sylvia. Loving mother of Pat and Caroline, Kevin and Christie and Maura and Ken. Cherished grandmother of Michael (Kelly), Patrick, Katherine, Andrew and Natasha. Dear sister of Carole and Gerry Munro and sister-in-law of Marlene and Dave Trace. Mary Agnes will be lovingly remembered by many dear family and friends.
