Peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga site in his 79th year, beloved husband of Dorothy. Dear loving father to Robert of Manitoba and Judy Walker and her husband Alan of Oakville. Dear grandfather to Tyson, Adam, Shannon and Dylan. Also sadly missed by his brother Nick and his wife Olga of Toronto, sister Rose Kuchma and her husband Vic of Hamilton and brother Jim and his wife Darlene of Toronto. He will also be missed by many other family and friends. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to nurses Sylvia Sobolewski and Gurinder Natt at Trillium Health Centre for their special care. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the chapel Friday at 2 p.m. Private family interment Saturday in Clinton, Ontario. Lucia (Lucy) Frejlich
Peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2002 at King Nursing Home in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Jozef. Loving mother of Conrad (Leona) & Leonard (Angie). Loving Babcia of Krystin, Ashley & Len Jr. She is also survived by her brother Michael Religa & many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church on Thursday, May 2, 2002 at 10 am. Interment St. Mary’s Catholic cemetery. The family has requested donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation & St. Michael’s Heart Disease Research.

Helen Menzies (Nee Boyd)
passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2002 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband John Menzies and friend Peter Krywy. Loving mother to John Jr and his wife Barbara, Richard and his wife Paddy. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Brandon, Kiernan, Natalie and her fiancé Mark, Matthew, and Rachel. Survived by her brothers and sisters Alex, Ann, Elsie, Emily, Fred and Kay and predeceased by Billy, John, Peter and Steve. Lovingly remembered by all her nieces and nephews here and overseas. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Cremation. Audrey Dean
passed away quietly in her sleep on May 1, 2002. She will be missed by her friends, particularly her teacher friends in the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario - Mississauga Branch and her church family at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Etobicoke where she was an active member. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2002 at 11:00 am from Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Boulevard W., (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at Fourteenth St.) In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sharon House Corporation (24 Montgomery Road, Toronto, Ontario, M8X 1Z4) or to any of the other charities Audrey supported. Peacefully in her sleep on May 16, 2002 at Lakeshore Lodge Home for the aged in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband Stan and survived by her loving son John and daughter in law Joyce. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 1 p.m. followed by interment at Prospect cemetery. Peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 in Toronto in her 78th year. Dear mother to Morris and grandmother to Michael and Spencer. Also survived by other relatives in the Ukraine. Loving mother of John Conway, Kim Lee and her husband Doug, and Cheryl Conway. Cherished grandmother of Nicole Conway. Much loved and cherished father of David and his wife Linda, Janice and her husband Larry Reinhard, Wendy and her husband Don McNeil. Deeply missed by his grandchildren Bill and Cathy, Cindy, Brett and Danielle, Kyle and Lori, Scott and Chantelle, Ryan, and Lisa, and great-grandchildren Kayla, Alexandra, Sarah, and Dawn. Dorothy Evelyn O’Grady
Peacefully passed away in her sleep at Garden Court Nursing Home on Friday, June 14, 2002. Dorothy Evelyn O’Grady resided at 49 15th Street for more than 80 years. She will be fondly remembered by four nephews and five nieces (children of her late step-brother Norman O’Grady), cousins Viola Poulton, Reva Bell, and Carolyn Cacciacerro of Etobicoke, and Pamela Russo of Mississauga. Dorothy lived, worked (C.I.L.) and volunteered in her community for more than 80 years. Her fierce independence and Irish spunk will be missed by all who knew her. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Mary McHugh, sisters Laura, Hilda (Lloyd), brothers Max (predeceased), Alan (Rowena), Roy (Jean), Lester (Marilyn), Wallace (Diane), Kevin (Judy), and many nieces, nephews and friends. Loving mother to Walter and his wife Ethel of Port Credit and Mary Giles and her husband Fred of Orangeville. Beloved grandmother to Stewart, Andrew and his wife Paula, Mark, and David and his wife Kim. Much loved great grandmother of Tyler, Mitchell, Cooper and Jessica. Survived by her sister Amy Trenwith, and predeceased by her brothers Archie, George and Walter Stevenson, and sisters Marguerite Hazlett, Isabel Landry and Laura Hanna.
