Laszlo Oertl
Peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in his 74th year. Laszlo will be greatly missed by his many friends and neighbours. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a complete service in the chapel at 7 p.m. Cremation. On behalf of Laszlo’s nephew Janos Nagy, many thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for their excellent care of Laszlo during his illness. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Rita Rose Bonnin
Peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2002 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga site, Rita, beloved wife of 47 years to Gerald (Gerry). Sister to Wesley Miron and his wife Bobbie of Ajax and Carol Miron of Toronto. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10 a.m. from St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 782 Browns Line. Interment St. Anne’s cemetery , Penetanguishene. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Terri Lee McNamara (nee Cool)
Suddenly on July 16, 2002 in her 40th year. After a long and courageous battle against many illnesses. Loving wife of Michael and devoted mother to Quinn and Kelly. Daughter of the late John and Doris Cool. Dear sister of Clayton and his wife Annette. Cherished niece of Sandy and Shirley Chamberlain. Fondly remembered by many relatives and friends. Just knowing Terri made us all feel better about the world we live in. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. James (Jim) Harold Rowett
On Thursday, July 25, 2002 at St. Joseph's Health Centre. Jim, loving brother of Edward and his twin brother Jack and his wife Mary. Jim will be sadly missed by his nephew Mark & his wife Linda, niece Judy McKay and nephews Ricky and Randy. Jim is predeceased by his parents William and Ruth and his brother Kenny. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Monday at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment Sanctuary Park cemetery.

Katherine Odessa Darwin
On Tuesday, July 23, 2002, she died of congestive heart failure at the age of 69. She is survived by her daughter Donna Franklin of San Jose, CA & her son David Darwin of Los Angeles, CA. She will be sadly missed by her friends in the Toronto area and Los Angeles. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Joyce Roberta Kelly (nee Jopson)
( Born in Vancouver, B.C., former member Women's Institute in Stayner, Ontario) Peacefully at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga site on Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by her husband William George (Bill). Dear mother to Robert and his wife Gloria, Frank, Bill and his wife Anne, Richard, Charles and his wife Debra and Jeff and his wife Janice. Cherished grandmother to Michael and his wife Ginny, Andrew, Grant, Greg, Gordon, Jeffrey, Reid, Shaylyn, and John. Great grandmother to Rachel and Sean. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lakeshore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Saturday from 12 noon until time of service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place in Vancouver, B.C. Peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2002 at Credit Valley Hospital in her 52nd year. Dearly beloved wife of Robert. Loving daughter to Edna Fice and the late Thomas Kerslake Fice. Dear mother to Jason and Angela and her husband Jean Paul. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Alecia and Hailey. Predeceased by her sister Jean Fice. Cremation has taken place. Adele Marlene Burrill (nee Wowchuk)
On Saturday, August 24, 2002 at her home after a courageous battle with A.L.S. Adele, dearly beloved wife of Peter. Loving mother to Courtney Ann and Travis. Dear sister to the late William. Survived by her sister-in-law Elaine and her sons Bradley and his wife Lynda and David and his wife Patti. Sadly missed by her great nieces and nephews Byron, Brittany, Matthew and Brooke. Mary Irene Wilde
( Born June 9, 1916 in Dryden, Ontario) Peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2002 at Kipling Acres. Mary, dear sister-in-law to Dorothy Wilde of Toronto. Also sadly missed by her niece Iris Wilde and husband Ian Miles and their children Graeme and Craig Miles-Wilde of Toronto; and her nephew Eric Wilde and wife Nancy Crosby of Boston, MA. George will be sadly missed by his Sister Mary Lukasewich, his niece Patricia Lukasewich and her husband Doug Leeis and their children Simon and Noah, and his nephew Tim and his wife Colleen and their children Olivia and Trent. On Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at home. Frank, beloved husband of Rose. Loving father of George and his wife Marianne, his son-in-law Steve Mezei and is predeceased by his daughter Jenny. Peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at Toronto Grace Hospital in her 59th year, beloved wife of Gerald Vincent Hopkins. Dearly loved mother to Loralie Collins and Crystal Hopkins. Dear grandmother to Brittni and Gregory. Sadly missed by her sister Caroline Wiwchar and neice Marisa Wiwchar. Irene will be sadly missed by many friends and family.
