Frank Stepec
Peacefully with his family by his side on Aug 7, 2006 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Katarina of 54 years. Loving father of Frank (Lisa), Marija (John), Katarina (Steve) and the late John. Proud Grandpa of Josie, Bill, Daniela, Giancarlo and Sarah. Devoted brother of Pavel of Sudbury, Rozalija of Slovenia, Ana of Toronto, Lojska of Barrie, and the late Miha of Slovenia. Fondly remembered by many family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Frank’s Life will be held at Our Lady Of The Miraculous Medal Slovenian Catholic Church (739 Brown’s Line in Etobicoke) on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 10 a.m. The family would also like to extend special thanks to the staff of 5C Medicine at THC for all their kindness, caring and compassion. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Maria (nee Hudovernik) Gustaw
Peacefully, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2006 after a lengthy illness in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband Bruno and son Robert. She will be missed by her brothers Leo (Silva) and Blaz. Aunt to Helen, Mimi, James and Stephen. She will also be remembered by family in Slovenija. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Sunday from 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, August 14, 2006 at 10am from Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. Interment Assumption Catholic cemetery.

Eleanor Cummings Lochrie
It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of their mother and grandmother on Monday, August 14, 2006 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga. Dear Mother to Ian and Tom (Michelle). Adored Gran to Jessica. Much loved by sister Myra and her family. Cherished Companion to Kenny Robinson. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Anne Ruth Lesnick (nee Pavlik)
After a short battle with leukaemia, died peacefully on Monday, August 14, 2006 at Princess Margaret Hospital in her 78th year. Beloved wife of her late husband George. Most loving and best mother in the whole world of Georgia (Uwe, deceased) Volker, Valerie (Bernie, deceased) Filip and Mark. Cherished and deeply loved Baba of Allan and Katrina. Dear sister of Mary (Maurice) Switzer of North Bay, and nieces Andrea (Frank) Zimperi, their daughter Bianca, and Lisa Doracka of Timmins. Born in Jakusovce, Czechoslovakia, Anne and her family visited her many relatives in the summer of 2005, and leaves a very large family to mourn her passing, but lovingly remembering her incredible zest for life, laughter and love. Special thanks to all the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for their love, care, compassion and empathy. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Tuesday, August 22 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Ridley Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 1 p.m. A celebration of Anne’s wonderful life will follow at Hollywood on the Queensway. (1184 The Queensway, three blocks east of Kipling.)

Alice Maud Kovac (nee Chidley)
Peacefully on Tuesday, August 15th in her 92nd year. Predeceased by husband Raymond Walshe, second husband Joseph Kovac, companion Harry Day, brothers Herbert and George Chidley and her niece Carol Chidley. Cherished by surviving brother Raymond Chidley. She will be sadly missed by her long-time friend, Vinnie Nivens, sister-in-law Evelyn Chidley. Loving aunt to Sheila and Andrew Bilicki; Roberta Ayton and Craig Archibald and family; Paul and Gail Chidley and daughter; David and Doreen Chidley and children; Sandra and David Thompson and children; Patricia Ranzan and family; and nephew Alen McCormick. Maud worked for many years at Goodyear, and Abitibi. Through the depression, Maud supported the family through hard times. All the family will remember Maud’s love of horses and the races at old Woodbine Racetrack. Thank you to Nurse Liz and caregivers at The Wexford for the many years of wonderful attentive care. A private family service was held at the Ridley Funeral Home.

Mary Perry
Peacefully, but suddenly Mary passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Dear friend and soulmate to her husband Steve. She will always be remembered by her son Robert, daughter Debb and grandson A.J. Mary will be missed by her brothers, sisters, family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves., at 14th St., 416-259-3705) on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church on Monday, September 4, 2006 at 1 pm. Cremation.

Winnifred Alice Wishlow (nee Wilson)
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Wynn on Wednesday, August 30, 2006, joining her beloved husband John. Much loved Mother to Karen (Wayne) McPhee, Shirley Hayes, Betty (Stan) Curylo, Jean (Dave) Ashley and Kim Wishlow. Proud Gramma to Shannon, Brad, Dawn, Renee, Tamara, Lisa, Kathryn, Patrick, Jennifer and Justin. Loving Great-gramma to Daniel, Nicholas, Brian, Cole and Madison. On Monday, August 1, 2005 at Humber River Regional Hospital, Church site. Born in Hnylcze, Ukraine on May 27, 1923. Beloved wife of the late Ewhen (Eugene) Chreptak. Dear mother to Steve and his wife Anna and Jerry and his wife Wendi. Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Randy Hopkin
Peacefully at home with his family on Monday, August 1, 2005 in his 48th year. Thomas William Randal Hopkin, dear son of Helen and predeceased by his father Thomas and step-mother Hugie. Dear loving husband to Margaret and cherished father to Jason (Stephanie) of Acton, Michelle Hopkin-Miles (Jeff) of Toronto and Randy (Dawn) of Brampton. Loved brother of Debbie, Cheryl, Alan, Larry, Chris, Kim and Cindy. Randy will be sadly missed by his in-laws William and Margaret Hann, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family and friends. The family would also like to express their sincere appreciation to Kevin, Dr. Cohen, Dr. Burkes, Dr. Swartz and all the homecare workers who helped with their care and compassion. Olga Ida Minnie Koss
Peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 with her family at her side. Olga, beloved wife of the late Edward Koss. Loving mother of Joyce and her husband George Christie, Rod and his wife Patricia, Gale and Gary and his wife Norma. She is survived by her grandchildren Edward, Cindy, Jackie, Andrew, Glenn, Brian, Brenda, Sherry, Dee and her great grandchildren Jason, Shawn, Kevin, Clayton, Alanna, Matty and Cameron. Olga will be sadly missed by her brother Harold and his wife Audrey and her sisters Adeline Liebeck and Helen Harvey. She is predeceased by her brothers Ewald and Verner Panke and sisters Edna Yandt Esther Neuman. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W. It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mary on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the McCall Centre. Predeceased by her husband Paul. Survived by her sisters Julia, Nelly and brothers John (BC), Steve (Canora), Daniel, Orest and the late Peter and Michael. Niece to Peter (Regina) Wenarchuck. Lilian Cragg
It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to Lilian Cragg who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2005. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother to Victor, Alan, Alex, Bryan and Darryl, she will be sadly missed. With Victor by her side we know she will always be with us. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, August 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W.
