Michael Neilon, of Midland, beloved husband of Gertrude Neilon (Nee Zoschke); loving father of Barbara (David) Black of Barrie, Mary Lynn (Peter) Evans of Barrie, Michael Jr. (Elanor) of Port McNicoll, Blayne (Linda) of Penetanguishene, and Keith (Susan) of Midland. Dear granddad of 12, and great granddad of 10. Survived by his sister Johanna Bourgois and predeceased by his grandson, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Sharon Alta Salata (Nee Van Luven)
passed away in her 66th year on Tuesday, January 18 at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital after a recurring battle with cancer. Dedicated and long-serving nurse at Huronia District Hospital, daughter of Margaret (neé Johnston) and Allan Van Luven, wife of the late Henryk Salata, beloved mother of Sim, Erika, Preston and Kealy, and loving grandmother to Zacharie, Alexandre, Kazia, Rayah, Grace, Finn and two to come into our lives. passed away on April 11, 2010 at age 89. Tillie slipped away peacefully at home, in Barrie, surrounded by her five daughters and grandson, Kyle. Predeceased by her husband Keith (2007). It is with profound sadness that the Todoroff Family announces the passing of David at Soldiers Memorial Hospital Orillia, on April 13, 2010, after a brief illness in his 59th year. David, beloved son of Bernice and the late Alex, will be sadly missed by his brothers Lawrence and friend Bonnie, Ross (Heather), and Bruce, and by his sister Catharine (Douglas) Abernethy. David is a cherished uncle to Jeremy Todoroff, Zach Todoroff, and Michael Abernethy, and great uncle to Jordan, Brooklyn, Hailey, and Nathan Todoroff. David will be fondly remembered by Al Pedlar of St. Catherines, Peter Hough of Penetanguishene, and June Greer of Utterson, and everyone whose lives he touched at Hillcrest Lodge, and in his volunteer work with the Winter Races at Couchiching Beach Park.
